Sights & Swills Summer Holiday Cider#1. WOOL. Found this in the local store after reaching the small village-style town of Wool in Dorset. A stated apple with a lot of tasty sweetness, lots of depth through its hidden-in-taste strength. Loads of apple aroma too. Good but not too much in one go!!!

Beyond the Wetherspoon at the rear of The Sidings commercial area, which replaced the old Eurostar terminal section after that was abandoned. A fridge of 'Train Beers' is behind a reception desk at the entrance and a long corridor of tables by large glass windows eventually leads to the bar with the usual setup here. Only beyond the bar do you get a sense of how big this place is as it opens up on different levels, with a different atmosphere as this is all now inside the building so it's all artificial light. Impressive and handy for the train of course.

Sights & Swills Summer Holiday Beer#3. LONDON. Last transit through the capital beer, bought at BrewDog under Waterloo Station. On the way I walked past the imposing British Museum building. No time today to visit, but I have done before a decade ago. Hoppy pale with mild enough berry fruit flavours - not enough to change its style though. Dirtier aroma.

Sights & Swills Summer Holiday Beer#2. LONDON. Transiting through London waiting to board a fourth train of the day, but with enough time to enjoy the South Bank show of people walking along the riverside in front of the National Theatre... with a beer of course! Well carbonated hoppy citrus brew, mildly dry in the palate. Sweet taste with citric bitter blast in aftertaste.
