Sights & Swills Summer Holiday Beer#2. LONDON. Transiting through London waiting to board a fourth train of the day, but with enough time to enjoy the South Bank show of people walking along the riverside in front of the National Theatre... with a beer of course! Well carbonated hoppy citrus brew, mildly dry in the palate. Sweet taste with citric bitter blast in aftertaste.

Fra fat på The Furlong (den opprinnelige Wetherspoon) Colney Hatch Lane, med Steven: klar lys gylden med fint skum som varer. Tropiske frukter står i kø sammen med litt appelsinmarmelade og lys malt. Mild bitterhet i avslutningen. Helt ok forfriskning en varm sommerkveld.

Pint at the Black Lion in Brighton. Straw yellow body with some haze over it, creamy white head. Nose is mild, light tropicals, some bubblegum, lightly soapy. Flavor is a little better, some malt and wheat, bubblegum, tropicals, orange. Light and dry. Easy drinker.

Keg draught at Watson's General Telegraph, Nunhead. Light gold, fairly hazy with an uneven white head on top, leaving lots of lacing. Light tropical aroma, with melon, grapefruit and maybe even a bit of banana. Taste accentuates the malt character; it's sweet, with more melon and a little herbal character. Light, creamy body with somewhat heavy carbonation. Inoffensive. Decent.

Half-pint, draught, shared with Finn at BeerKat. Snow white head over a misty, grey-golden body, rich lacing. Moderate hop fruity flavours with scent of pineapple. The taste profile follows suit with pineapple and lemony hops. Short fruity ending with discreet bitterness. Just okay. (Ealing Broadway, London, 26.09.2023).

Delt med Rune på BeerKat. Gusjegrågul. Uklar. Middels høyt luftig kritthvitt skum som varer en stund. Litt lacing. Lett sitrusaroma. Smaken tropisk frukt. Lett tørr bitter avslutning.
