I drink all kinds of beers, ciders, meads... want to try all of them! Favourite style: barley wine

Located in a not-so-nice area behind Termini not so easy to reach the place is fairly small with practically all surfaces plastered with random staff. The publican was smoking at the door letting sigarette smoke inside the bar and didn't say a single word in the whole time I was there. Also the place was empty. Looks like it's left in the 90s and it's going down the drain. Selection instead was good/interesting. Overall though I would not return.

Traditional old school pub in a residential zone. My friend and I ordered an extra stout that from the very same moment it was pumped out smelled like crap. The bartender didn't notice. After waiting to see if the smell vanished and after a sip we asked if the terrible smell and taste was normal and only after tasting it himself he noticed the beer had gone bad. Got a second beer which was of course much better but still gave me the impression this pub doesn't keep its lines clean. That's very bad... Selection was OK with 10 cask and a few draft. Prices rather low (4.5 pounds for two half-pints) but given the quality provided...

Restaurant just in front of Macche. Vast series of taps (I counted 23) nice selection also local beers. Nice restaurant just a little too hot. Service was OK. Food was highly enjoyed by my whole table though maybe a bit expensive.

Nice little beer pub in Cork. Very warm ambiance kind service good selection of craft beer. They have - if I counted well - 25 taps and 1 cask. Some are industrial beers but selection is varied and interesting. Good amount of Irish craft beers. Average prices.

Well-attended bar in downtown San Diego Gaslamp quarter. The place is nice but terribly noisy. Music was very loud ruining the nice atmosphere in my own view. It was also fairly dark but that happens in a lot of bars. Service at the bar was OK (bartender alone taking care of orders and making cocktails). Selection of beers was quite OK. The food was good! Overall my only problem was with the loud music. Not the best place for beer tasting.

Small underground pub in the centre of Bruxelles. I visited it on the night of a terrorist attack to Bruxelles so there was very little people around (plus it was Monday night at 22:30). The place is cool though very simple. Service was OK. Selection was not very wide but interesting. Overall a nice place apparently needing to be tested again in a better night.

Neighbourhood bar not far from the new cool area of Milan. Nice patio outside on a fairly quiet street. Selection was limited to six taps some of which fairly common Italian craft beers (like Bibock). Overall a good choice in the area.

Traditional old-style bar (wooden furniture and all) in the centre of Amsterdam in Spui. I was there near closing time so not many customers. One more point in service for service my beers in its own spectacular glass. Selection was almost only of standards. Not interesting for craft beer people. Overall not the place for me.

Very busy beer bar (and brewery) in the latin quarter of Montreal QC Canada. Atmosphere is very lively although a little congested in my view. Music pretty high. Kind service people behind the bar seem to like each other and to have fun. Very wide selection all from the brewery itself. Overall a nice bar I'd be happy to go back to.
