Large bar (with brewery) near downtown Montreal QC Canada. I went at a time when the bar is definitely not busy (lunch time or right after). OK. But unfortunately the feeling the place gives is negative. Old forniture randomly located in the bar mixed random tables and chairs a general sense of lack of care (not to be confused with industrial fashion). Service was good. Selection was only of their beers about 9 if I remember correctly. Overall no incentive to return if not to see it busier at night maybe with a different atmosphere...
Nice bar/restaurant within the campus of McMaster University run by the graduate students association. Large space indoor plus a nice patio outside. Kind service. Good beer selection with several local craft beers. Typical bar food menu ranging from poutine to cheesesteak. Overall a good choice on-campus.

The bar is located in front of a canal. Its major selling point more than the beer list are the tables outside along the canal and on a boat that is kept in front of the bar. Wonderful at night! Service was OK. Selection was OK but quite average.

Finally tried Macche'; The place is really small (though I didn't look at the room downstairs) and it easily fills with people. Unfortunately to order a beer you have to climb over people sitting/drinking at the bar desk. But probably it's the best they can do given available space. Selection is very nice. 13 taps. Prices OK (4 euro for a small 6 for a medium).

Nice little bar underground in a quiet neighborhood (luckily just in front of my hotel). Place could be renewed, but benefits from the warm atmosphere of many bottles and cans hanging from the wall. Attendance was very limited. At the bar a Japanese guy who luckily could speak English. Prices were OK considering beer taxation in Japan. Selection of bottles very wide 8-9 taps.
Brewery taproom in central San Diego. Nice place pretty spacey. Good atmosphere. Service was OK. Bartender was a little sketchy but still OK. Selection is only own beers reasonably but still fairly large and with some interesting special beers (imperial stouts). Overall a nice place.

Nice pub in Helsinki. Very close to my hotel luckily... Full of international tourists nice atomosphere. At the bar comfortable English spoken. Selection is good with 22 taps and the possibility of 4-beer tasting boards. Some classics like Brewdog's Punk IPA or the Salvator. Many bottles listed on the wall. Prices are very high (about 6-6.50 for a small beer more than 9 for a pint I believe) but tonight all beers were for 4 euros :).
Delirium (Huyghe) took over an entire small street in the very centre of Bruxelles and created the Delirium Village including a terrace and a tequileria. Interesting style of forniture. Very lively. The beer bar has quite some beers though mostly Huyghe and standards. Overall an interesting place to visit once but not for searching for new beers to drink.

Brewpub in the centre of Vienna. Very crowded on a Sunday night at 11pm. Everyone I heard ordering was English-speaking I got the feeling the place is mostly attended by expats. Location is nice. Selection is of some regulars and some specials. I guess the specials change over time. Overall a good choice. Wide menu of food as well though I didn't try it. Prices for tap beer are fine.
