A shadow of its former self before Wetherspoon's took it over. Very busy for 4 o'clock on a Tuesday afternoon but it was a nice sunny day with lots of people drinking outside. I remember watching the 2003 Rugby World Cup Final there, an amazing day. Also the occasional lock in when the last Hydes landlady was in charge; not much chance of that under Wetherspoons.

Brief visit while doing the CAMRA Mild Magic challenge. A hot sunny day so empty inside but a few people sitting out. Good selection of beers and decent music.
