nutty malty aroma, bit like a vienna, more dry than your usual brown ale.
flavor is nutty brown, bitter nutty brown, malty bitterness into the end, faint herbal bitterness , perhaps from hops.
flavor is more straight ipa with a bit of powdered sugary grapefruit added. dry and hoppy flavor, very refreshing, and a non-watery body, would work well as a quencher in the hot summer sun. there are some faint candy like flowery like honey like notes still there, but they work okay with the rest.
mild herbal hoppy aroma with some flowery notes. there is a genuine hoppy bitterness, but it's not that strong. flavor is more intensely hoppy bitter, malty bitter, with hops tasting quite european, like english IPA, not american IPA. There are also some sweet grassy hoppy notes.
malty aroma, faint cola nuts, sweet nuts, overall quite dry malty though.
At first very decent brown aleish flavor but then some strange flavor that seems off, like, faint black rubber or some kind of leather. it's faint, but it doesn't do any good to the otherwise pretty nice brown ale flavor. the end is a bit meh with a hoppy balance slightly lacking. They're on to something, but needs refinement.
nutty malty to bitter malty with some notes of caramel, bit like an industrial vienna. Flavor is bitter caramelly, bitter nutty malty, faint smoked notes. A bit weird with the smoked malty notes, also somewhat watery. I would say unbalanced. Drinkable though.
very unusually for this brewery, which usually delivers industrial level cleanliness and failure free quality, but micro brew level taste and variety - the bottle spilled over when opened.
slightly cloudy yellow, small white head
aroma is mild mango and peaches like hoppy , crisp malty, whiff of herbal notes.
flavor is slightly grassy and herbal, with a mild but bitter hoppy backbone, clear crisp malts. dry and bitter, and after a few sips i start to like the beer very much, old fashioned dry west coasty pale ale, where hops and malts dominate. A very solid alternative to northwest european pils type beers, as it is still very dry and quenching, just with a lot more hoppy flavors.
with the relatively low ABV, i could easily find myself accidentially having way too many of these in good company or while doing physical leisure work like gardening. would also go super well with barbercue'ish food.
refreshing herbal and grapefruit aroma. A bit like a radler, but less malt sweetness than your typical radler, this one is more dry.
very mild flavor, the mild fruitiness is hard to place on either grapefrut juice or the hops.
all in all refreshing but extremely mild and somewhat watery.
