dark to dark brown, light brown smooth head with bubbles.
aroma is heavy on the chocolate and the honey, some vanilla notes too, in total it comes off as quite artificial but rather yummy. like a chocolate-honey cake in a discout supermarket that is trash, but still smells good.
flavor is very pastry stoutish in that it is tons of various flavours you would not associate with roasted malts, and then some roasted malts to base it all. But it is quite well orchestrated and things are balanced so it's not overly too much artificial vanilla or overly too much artificial honey or the like. In fact the honey flavor seems very legit and could be from quality honey. also chocolate and a bit of bakery pasty. overall come off as very non-beerish - but for a pastry stout this is pretty good actually - balanced.

clear brown pour, giant light brown smooth head. nutty aroma, toasted malts, hazelnuts, somewhat dry, faint mineral waterish - faint slightly salty.
Flavor is quite sweet, malts sweets, red-cough candy like bitterness, end is candy and herbal bitter. quite unusiual flaovr for an imp stout.

Bottle.
As Imperial Stout Barrel Aged Blend Poivre De Kampot 12%
Dark brown but not black. light brown smooth head.
malty and roasted malty aroma, dark toffee, gunpowder and perhaps faint smoked malts and charred wood. quite rounded and balanced given the charred and smoked fainter notes. good blend. reminds me of limfjordsporter, but a more soft version.
Flavor is an excellent mix of roasted malts, smoked malt, charred wood, salty notes. The wood brings a lot of flamed barrel notes but not many weird off flavors - the roasted malts are heavy enough to balance. The smokiness never goes overboard but remains balanced. the alc. is well hidden and not at all in the way. very good for its kind.

pours black with a very smooth dark brown (lowest) to light brown (highest) head.aroma of roasted malts (tons of them) barrelling, faint glue, very little bit of nailpolish, whiskey. overall the aroma is very good though, much better than how you might think havind read my description.
Flavor is roasted malts, sweet whiskey, fainter dark chocolate, less boozy than you would think given the very high ABV, can do as a sipper but is a bit sharp at times.

Flowery and quite fruity Aroma
Flavor is sugary sweet, slightly grassy hoppy, malty , somehow comes off as not too sweet - the sweetness is like powdered sugar or grape sugar. Water treatment makes it very crisp yet smooth. Pretty good job.
