Oakes Profile - Brewver

Hazy. Quite sharp, that's a harsh acidity. Stings the nostrils and the tongue. Some berry but this is a real enamel stripper. They tried to out-fruit it, but instead should have blended it.

Hazy, slight plummy colour. Light passionfruit on the nose. Medium tartness. Nice fruit - definitely dragonfruit and passionfruit in there. The mango is a bit lost. Needs more mango.

Dark brown. Soft body. Molasses accent, light fudgeyness. Mellow nuttiness. Comes across fairly light, though.

Amber-brown. The aroma has caramel, light toffee, nutty. Some phenols. On the palate, it's light, thin, with mellow figginess. Low phenols again, for whatever reason. The whole package goes nowhere.

Hazy and tart. A bit harsh, sharp and lemony. Not much beyond that sharpness. Plums are lost.

The aroma and flavour are all cleaners. Straight phenols. I don't even think it's worth getting into how undrinkable this is. You just can't pour this stuff anywhere but the drain.

Pale and opaque. Medium head. Light floral aroma, hints of hop. Off-dry finish. Mellow brett. Decent beer, I didn't get much of the green tea.
