Poured from 473mL can. Hazy yellow gold with small white head. Pithy citrus peel, pine, some hop burn, haven't been impressed with any of the recent versions of Head Banger. Not terrible, but uninteresting.

Poured from 500mL bottle. Dark brown with minimal off white head. Woody, nutty nose. Taste is woody, super feint hint of dark fruits, very mild marzipan quality, a bit thin.

Poured from 750mL bottle (no 96; 22/23 season; bottled 18/08/2023); Hazed brownish red with minimal white head. Very mild vinous character, with soft tartness, manure, subdued, but blends nicely, decent. Slightly prefer the Pruim MBCC 2025. Enjoy it more with some dregs (had the first pour) +0.1.

Poured from 750mL bottle (2021 vintage; thanks dad). Clear blonde gold with dissipating white head. Lacto cheese, some cheerio, very feint fruity tartness, almost none existent background whiskey character. There are off flavours, but nothing egregiously disgusting. Honestly, was expecting worse. Not good, but not a drain pour. Does get worse as it warms.

Poured from 473mL can. Very dark brown with small beige head. Sasparilla, cardamom, light bitter roast. Clashes a bit, but inoffensive. I enjoy the sasparilla quality in this, would just like the bitterness to tone down a touch and add some more body. Above average.

Poured from 750mL bottle (bottled Nov 01, 2017). Lightly hazed auburn brown with small off white head. Mild acetic vinegar note on the nose with some wood and caramel malt. Expected a Flanders. Taste starts off same, quite feint and muted, but ultra drying quality that strips away all the flavour middle to end of the swallow. Seems a bit off, disappointing. Improved as it warmed - adding more body and lost the drying finish. Improved significantly (went from a 3.0 to a 3.5)

Poured from 330mL bottle (thanks for the country tick, Ferris). Clear blonde gold with small white head. Soured lager base with lemonade overlay. Better than just having the shitty lager base...

Poured from 750mL bottle (Release 034; Bottled January 2023; 6.4% abv). Clear dark ruby red with small white head. Further pours were murky .Light blueberry and thyme with very feint wild yeast tartness, clean and simple, not especially interesting, but okay sipper.

Poured from 473mL can (2025 release). Near black with dissipating beige head. Aroma of gentle roast malt with mild toasted coconut and chocolate. Taste is fairly toasted coconut forward, almost dry-ish upfront, like more husky coconut and light roast, transitions into a mild sweeter coconut with some residual dark sugars on the backend. Decent, but a touch muted.
