Oh, and if I give a detailed rating on a beer, rather than a quick tick, you can ignore the specifics. I don't need to judge appearance, or whatever. I just don't want to leave a rating rounded to the nearest .5, like the quick tick limits you to.

Picked up my wife at St. Jacob's market. Pretty straightforward blonde ale. Malt is dry straw, with decent density, some bitterness that tends to linger. Pretty middle ground.

How have I not rated this bar? It's an east end classic.(It's even the subject of song by the Can Rock '90s band, Lowest Of The Low) It's been slinging beers for decades. It's a local that's pretty basic, no food, a little rough around the edges, but super comfortable and a true beer bar. (That no food things is going to pull this Bar's average down.) 24 taps and a cask. All an assortment of mostly gta, but a few other southern Ontario breweries. The bartenders know their stuff, and they want to try samples. If you find yourself in Toronto's east end, it's worth the stop.

Bit of a mixed up brew. I'm geting the esters, with slight bananas and bubble gum. It's all under a mildly sweet malt, with solid bittering hops, resin, ans some tropical fruits.

Pours a light clear tan, decent white head. Taste is decent mild roasted malts, decent creamy smoothness. Really enjoyable. Pint at the only.

Pours a light blonde, finger and a half of white head. Some decent light esters, over very light hay malts, notes of grass, grapefruit in there too. Some bitterness in the finish. A decent light saison. Can from the brewery.

Cloudy blonde with fluffy white head to ring. Nose is light lime and a little bread malt. Taste is fairly heavy key lime up front, notable, but not overwhelming salt, over wheaty malts. Lingers with lime, salt and and some acidity on the finish. Decent density for a 4%. Kind of a targeted beer, very cooler focused, but doesn't get sweet, and is pretty tasty and decent.
