Appearance- black, with a big thick brown head. Aroma- coffee, chocolate, liquorice hints, earthy malt, hint of dark fruit. Taste is smooth chocolate, vanilla, caramel, coffee, nutty hints, bit of sweet dark fruit, almost raisiny/ blackcurrant in the background. Earthy finish.

Appearance is hazy orange, with a half-finger white fizzy head. Aroma- orange, grapefruit, malt, citrus fruit, stone fruit, peach, mango, hops. Taste is hop bitterness, malt, citrus fruit, pine, grapefruit, orange peel. Very nice.

Appearance is murky orange, with a small fizzy head. Aroma is peach, melon, pineapple, grapefruit, citrus and orange. Taste is full and fruity, orange and pine, mango, tangerine, citrus fruit, peppery hops. Juicy sweet fruity finish.

Appearance is oily midnight black, a small tan ring but not really any head. Aroma is strong bourbon, booze, vanilla, dark rum, whiskey, chocolate, espresso, scorched malt, trace of tar and pipe smoke, burnt treacle. Taste is rich chocolate torte, smooth coffee, vanilla, oak barrel, bourbon, treacle, molasses, chocolate fudge, overdone fruitcake, hints of dark fruit, whisky fudge. Intense, very good.

Appearance is black, with a 1-finger thick foamy beige head. Aroma is chocolate, almond, roast malt, coffee, caramel, cherry and spices, fruitcake, cherry pie, dark fruit hints, chocolate brownie. Taste is chocolate, cherry, caramel, toffee penny, chocolate cake, hint of vanilla, dark cakey malt, almond, marzipan, hint of nutmeg and spices, coffee. Sweet subtle finish. Well done.
