If there are any Aussie RateBeer users on here who lost their ratings as a result of the shutdown, and want to transfer them to this site, get in contact as I may be able to provide some assistance. If my ratings seem consistently high, it's primarily because I've got to the point where I mainly drink the styles I like best, from the breweries who I know produce consistently good gear.

From a 330ml can on 3/1/2026 (shared with Ed). Pours a deepest brown with a small tan head. The nose is malty and fruity, with hints of toffee and spice. On the sip, it's very sweet and dessertish with toffee and caramel, dried fruit and some chocolate, along with cinnamon and a touch of ginger, finishing with a light, tangy bitterness. The plate is oily, the carbonation moderate. An interesting and enjoyable big sweet porter.

From a 330ml bottle on 2/1/2026 (shared by Ed with thanks). Pours a dark brown with a biggish light tan head. The nose is lightly fruity with some chocolate notes. Tastes reasonably sweet, featuring dark and dried fruit, a good dash of chocolate and a touch caramel, proceeding to a lightish bitterness featuring some Belgian yeast at the back. The palate is slick the carbonation moderate. As some other raters have noted, it probably presents more as a mix of a strong dark Belgian ale and a quad, than an imperial stout. Still, it's very tasty and quite smashable for the size. Nice stuff.

From a 330ml bottle on 2/1/2026 (shared with Ed). Pours a clear deep golden with a big foamy head. The nose is Belgian yeasty with some citrus and spice. Taste is relatively sweet, fruity, with spice and citrus rind, finishing quite dry and moderately bitter. Fullish bodied with average carbonation. Very pleasant and quite easy drinking for the size.

From a 473ml can on 2/1/2025. Ours a hazy dirty golden with a biggish head. The nose is punchy and fruity, with lots of citrus and a touch of stone fruit. Tastes of orange and peach, with a really firm grapefruity bitterness at the back. Has a silky mouthfeel with moderate to average carbonation. A fab, bold, super flavoursome hazy that punches way above it's weight.

From a 440ml can on 1/1/2025 (purchased directly from the brewer). Pours a hazy medium golden with a smallish head. Has a punchy tropical and floral nose. Tastes sweet and very fruity - ripe mango, passionfrui, papaya and even a bit of apple, leading in a tangy, lightly spicy bitterness. Has a pillowy mouthfeel with moderate carbonation. Yet another cracking huge hazy from these guys.

From a 440ml can on 31/12/2025 (2025 edition, shared by Butz with me and Ed). Pours a deep brown with a small tan head that disappears. The aroma features a big coffee and chocolate with the barest hint of booze. Tastes of coffee, dark fruit, dark chocolate with hints of vanilla, and some warming booze. The palate is syrupy, the carbonation moderate. A complex, enjoyable coffee oriented sipper.
