From a 375ml can on 8/9/2026. Pours a clear deep golden with a medium had. Has a very strong coffee nose. On the sip the coffee is even more intense coming over the top of some citrus notes. Firmly bitter, featuring lots of piney hops which linger. Fullish body with average carbonation. Bold, punchy, clean and refreshing. Really liked this one.

From a 473ml can on 5/9/2025. Pours a milky light golden with a medium head. The nose is light citrus with hints of stone fruit. Quite sharp and citrussy, with a bit of peach, leading into a spicy, citric bitterness. Has a pillowy mouthfeel with moderate carbonation. The last of a little Fidens batch I secured, and a very good double hazy.

From a 473ml can on 4/9/2026. Pours a milky golden with a medium head. The nose is ripe and tropical. Tastes of orange, mango, pineapple and papaya, finishing with a moderate tangy bitterness. Has a pillowy mouthfeel with moderate carbonation. Super easy drinking for the size. A very nicely balanced, very tasty big hazy, if not living up to the $47 purchase price.

From a 473ml can on 2/9/2026. Pours a cloudy light yellow/golden with a medium head. The nose is quite tropical with some grassy and herbal notes in the mix. Tastes of peach passionfruit, orange and white grape, though some lemon and light grapefruit in the middle make it a touch more savoury than sweet. Finishes with a pretty firm tangy, herbal bitterness with a bit of pine. Has a lovely soft delicate palate with moderate carbonation. Purchased after seeing Oz crafties raving about the quality of Fidens hazies on FB, and have another couple in the fridge to follow. In short, this is a really lovely beer, with real character, length, complexity and balance. If it wasn't $43 a can, I'd be very happy to down regularly.

From a 330ml bottle on 1/9/2026. Pours near black with a small tan head that dissipates quickly. Those nose features dark chocolate, a dash of coffee and a whiff of booze. Tastes as advertised with dark chocolate, toffee and coffee all presenting, with a hint of sour cherry, leading into a boozy, decently bitter finish. Has a lightly syrupy palate and average carbonation. A decent enough sipper, but doesn't come together as well as I'd hoped.

From a 440ml can on 30/8/2026. Pours a cloudy golden with a small head. Has a spicy, ripe tropical fruit nose. Features some mango, melon and white grape, finishing with a spicy, green, herbal lingering bitterness. Like many One Drop hazies, it's more on the savoury side than sweet. Silky mouthfeel with average carbonation. Solid enough.
