Refugee from the RateBeer shutdown (profile name Maris). If my ratings seem consistently high, it's primarily because I've got to the point where I mainly drink the styles I like best, from the breweries who I know produce consistently good gear.

8.1/10 Appearance 7 Aroma 8 Flavor 9 Texture 7 Overall 8.5
From a 440ml can on 30/5/2025 (purchased directly from the brewer). Pours a milky light golden with a biggish head. The nose is very tropical with some light spicy and floral notes. There's lots going on on the sip - passionfruit, peach, mango and grape, finishing with a moderate spicy, tangy bitterness. Has a pillowy and slightly creamy palate, with average carbonation. Super easy drinking for such a big beer and a really enjoyable big bopper from one of best brewers of hazies in the country.

From a 440ml can on 28/5/2025. Pours a murky medium golden with a smallish head. The nose is a combo, of fruity, herbal and phenolic. Tastes of passionfruit, peach and white grape, with the fruit met by a quite firm, spicy, lingering bitterness at the back. Silky mouthfeel with moderate carbonation. Bold, tasty, quite complex and very nicely balanced.

From a 440ml can on 24/5/2025. Pours an opaque deep golden with a smallish head. The nose is bright and distinct blood orange. Tastes of blood orange and lemon, with a nice zesty bitterness at the back. Fullish body with moderate to average carbonation. Simple, but really well done.

From a 440ml can on 22/5/2025. Pours a cloudy deep golden with a medium head. The nose is passionfruit, lemon sherbet and white grape. It's actually unexpectedly sweet up front - lots of passionfruit, pineapple and more white grape. Tangy at back with a modest bitterness. Silky mouthfeel with moderate carbonation. Very enjoyable but wanted it a touch more savoury.
