Can, from Trader Joe's, Chicago IL. Pours clear light amber-copper with a foamy beige head, caramel malt aroma, high carbonation, medium bitter caramel malt taste, citrus peel. toffee, smooth thin body, long finish. Decent red ale.

Draught @ Geneva Ale House, Geneva IL (Nov 2025). Pours faintly cloudy reddish brown with a small frothy beige head, very faint caramel aroma, medium carbonation, bitterish caramel malt taste, thin body, long finish. Decent brew.

Visited in November 2025. Small bar/restaurant on the main street of Geneva IL. They have 12 beers on tap and an impressive list of over 200 bottes/cans. Woodtop bar on one corner and restaurant style tables around. A couple of LCD TVs with the usual sport streaming. Pub food menu. Quite impressive to have that bottle list at such a small place.

Visited in October 2025. Bottle shop and bar side by side, through the same enterance. Great inventory in the cbottle shop, 20 beers on tap, quite a nice selection. Small food menu, mostly British pub food, zinc top bar, a few tables around. Nice place to visit periodically.

Can, from Beermiscuous, Chicago IL (Oct 2025). Pours extremely hazy lemon yellow with a large foamy whitish head, faint citrus aroma, adequate carbonation, medium bitter unripe mango-citrus peel taste, smooth thin body, long finish. A good NE DIPA.
