hawthorne00 Profile - Brewver (Dev)

Not quite clear amber, thin off white head. Brooding old lemon and barn aroma, honey and hard spices, bracken. Slightly creamy, slippery texture, fairly high carbonation. Sour with quite brusque lemon. Hay and a little honey, stone fruit, bracken. If I had another of these I'd keep it for another couple of years.

Can. Almost clear pale gold with a 2cm white head. Almost austere lemon/lime pith aroma, some crackers, hints of tropical fruit. Mostly crackery malt, hints of honey. Lots of citrus flavours, hints of tropical. Medium-high bitterness with hints of resin. My sort of thing.

Can. Pale gold, clear. A cm of white head. Gentle aroma of passionfruit, orange, hay, light bread. A bit more insistent taste with bread, grass, white grapes, passionfruit and bitterness that nags up a tad. A little boiled lolly quality to the malt, but not bad and just about justifies its strength.

Can. Opaque yellowish brown with a cm of fluffy white head that fades. Aroma of pineapple, grapefruit, chewed crackers. Vague, somewhat sludgy palate, but fruity with tropical fruit, a cleansing citrus aspect, a little herbal astringency. Modest bitterness.

Can. Deep clear red brown with an inch of pale beige head. Aroma of dried and stewed fruit, some roasted notes, white pepper. Lots of dark fruit, some leather. Lightened by a bitter peppery finish but doesn't quite do the trick of just being a fun drink at the same time like the best of the style. Still, good in a good series.
