3/II/26 - 33cl can from Geers (Oostakker), shared @ home, BB: 20/VI/27 (WTF? Why would you tell people they can keep an IPA for that long?) (2026-95)
Pretty clear yellow blond beer, big creamy irregular white head, unstable, dissipates quickly, non adhesive. Aroma: very sweet impression, banana flavoured candy, bubble gum, some dried fruits, grape sugar, a bit weird. MF: soft carbon, medium body. Taste: pretty weird, sweet and fruity start, then a bit chemical, weird acidity, lots of ripe to overripe banana, very yeasty. Aftertaste: very bitter, resinous, banana peel, some bubble gum, a bit metallic, malty finish, chemical touch, meh.

Clear orange to almost amber beer, irregular creamy off-white head, a little stable, non adhesive. Aroma: nice, lots of sweet tropical fruits, juicy, a little oxidised, caramel, some almonds, sweet impression. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: nice bitterness up front, some fruity notes, caramel, malty, grassy, very resinous bitterness, herbal. Aftertaste: malty, grains, hay, very bitter, a bit resinous, some caramel, hoppy, a bit piny, some grapefruit peel.

Clear dark brown to black beer, small creamy beige head, a little stable, non adhesive. Aroma: very malty, grains, cow fodder, hay, barnyard, good roast, rains, hints of dark chocolate. MF: ok carbon, medium to full body. Taste: good dark roast, very bitter, lots of cocoa powder, a bit oxidized, soft acidity, earthy, more bitterness, dry. Aftertaste: roasted, lots of alcohol, bitter, hoppy, coffee, cocoa powder, pretty dry, rather one-dimensional, not very good.

Clear dark purple to burgundy red beer, small creamy light pink head, unstable, non adhesive. Aroma: lots of cherries, some raspberries, a bit earthy, very vinous, more cherries, dry impression. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: nice, lots of cherries, raspberries, very dry, earthy, good! Aftertaste: very acidic, sour cherries, earthy, more cherries, less fruity than the Kriek B225 though.

Clear dark purple to ruby red beer, creamy dense pink head, very stable, a bit adhesive. Aroma: nice, lots and lots of almonds, a bit oxidized, earthy, cherries, dark forest fruits, a bit woody, deep strong fruity smell, nice! MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: nice, sourish, lots of sour cherries, acidic, very sour and dry, a bit oxidized, almonds, some alcohol, more oxidized. Aftertaste: earthy, lots of cherries, oxidized, almonds, some tannins, a bit vinous, cherries, lovely, nice one!

Somewhat cloudy orange beer, practically no head. Aroma: super fruity, oranges, tangerines, peaches, funky brett, pretty complex. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: pleasant acidity, very fruity, oranges, tangerines, a bit oxidized, wood notes, pleasant acidity. Aftertaste: little dry, fruity, orange peel, tannins, some oxidation, good stuff!
