Benzai Profile - Brewver

Bottle shared with Laura at San Marino restaurant, Harlingen. Clear dark golden color, decent sized white head. Aroma is blossomy, floral. Flavor is similar: floral, blossomy, light to moderately red berry notes. Quite nice in the summer, but overall very nicely done anyway. I like it.

Bottle at Italian restaurant San Marino, Harlingen. Recommended btw. Hazy cloudy dark orange color, full sized dense white head. Aroma is malts, dusty, light cardboard. Flavor is malts, hay, hayish hoppy, hayish bitter. Seems more of the same all the way, but it's pretty decent. I like it. Good body, quite full and suitable medium carbonation. Pleasant.

Can at home. Hazy pale yellow color, full sized white head. Aroma and flavor are malts, hops, soft fruity notes, distant lychee, distant lemon notes, light apricot. Decent to medium body and soft to medium carbonation. Solid.

Can at home. Clear golden color, full sized white head. Aroma is malts, hops. Flavor is malts, hops, light nectarine fruitiness. Moderately bitter. Nothing special but quite alright.

Bottle (2017, release 6, 125 cases bottled, 10 months barrel aged) shared with Johnny. Opaque black color, medium sized fizzy brown colored head that diminshes quickly. Aroma is malts, roast, whisky. Flavor is similar: malts, roast, whisky, malt bitter, bitter with a slight tart note. Hmm not great, expected better.

Bottle shared by Johnny. Amber color, virtually no head. Aroma and flavor are malts, floral, horse blanket, funk, wood, sourish grapes, tart lightly. Quite nice. I like it.

Can shared by Johnny. Unclear hazy pale yellow color, average sized white head. Aroma and flavor are lightly malts, quite hoppy, a tad on the sweet side, sweetish candy mixed with citrus-ish notes. Hmm not great but it's okay, drinkable.
