Visited in August ‘25. Sat outside on their patio, which is split by a pedestrian road. Jazz combo playing some live soft jazz. Inside is what you might expect from a steakhouse. Extensive food menu, ordered some kind of truffle burger which was really tasty. Others in my group enjoyed their food as well. Beer selection is small, they had a few beers from Pelicon and Clef, and a house beer from an undisclosed brewery. Service was decent. Would recommend for the food, if you like meat.

33cl Fles van Carrefour Brugge CS. Mistig goudgele kleur, witte kraag. Ruikt hoppig, bloemig, hint van wort, licht spoortje aluminium, smaak is vrij zoet en wrang, waterig, bloemig, citroensap, kruisbessen, lichtbittere finish. Lichte body.

Visited in August. When in Rome… Tree-shaded quare in the middle of Celje, built in the shape of a hop cone, with 6 automated tap pillars. 6 brews from traditional and modern breweries. Wanted to visit for the gimmick, but it turned out to be more pleasant than expected. Good atmosphere, drinking outside, beer to forget the concrete setting. Got a mug for 6 0.1L servings for €12. Beers were bad, but still enjoyed it. Wouldn’t go far out of the way to visit though.

Visited in August ‘25. Deceptively large barn on the outskirts of town, bordering the famous Slovenian hop fields. Lots of seating inside and out back, overlooking the hop vines. I opted for a flight of beers, you can choose the beers yourself. Nice range of beers, from sour, IPA, saison to more modern pastry stuff. Beers were decent to good. Service was friendly and knowledgeable. Food was meh today, Istrian sea food but that meant overpriced fries and some over-fried calamares. Got some bottles to go as well, would’ve liked to stay a bit longer. Live music (Neil Young) was just starting to play as we left. Recommended, not just for the setting.
