Wazige diepgele kleur met een mooie standvastige witte kraag. Geur is harsig (vooral uit het blik), citrus, iets moutzoet. Retronasaal komt de citrus(schil) wat naar voren, met nog steeds wat fijne harsigheid. Smaak is bitter(ig)-zoetig, zoals het een echte DIPA betaamt. Medium body. Afdronk met toenemende bitterheid, maar niet samentrekkend.

Geen datum te vinden op 't blikkie. Uiterlijk is zoals je zou verwachten, troebel, geel, en een witte hobbelige kraag. Geur uit het blik is lekker 'dank', uit het glas is het vooral fruitig, met name citrus. Retronasaal is er citrus, deeg, hars. Smaak is bitterig. Medium body. Lange, vrij bittere finish. Lekker, maar niet spectaculair.

Bought at Utobeer, Borough Market, London. Pours a clear ruby/copper body and a nice tan head with a small layer retention. Aroma's of fruit candy, wood/tannines, light sweet and a hint of fruity sour. Retronasal the tannines are a bit more upfront, with sweetness, fruit, a bit alcohol. Flavour is above moderate sweet with hints of fruity sourness and bitterness. Medium bodied, warming alcohol, soft carbonation. Long finish with some wood, light moderate bitter. Quite delicate, really nice.

Canned On 11/04/2025 (November dus he?). Schenkt een troebele goud-oranje kleur met een standvastie witte kraag die maar heel langzaampjes inzakt. Geur van kruidige hop, zacht, licht harsig, thee, iets fruitig. Retronasaal is er meer fruit, maar ook weer wat hars, kruidige hop, en zelfs iets zoetigs. Smaak is gemiddeld bitter met een licht zoetje. Medium body. Zachte koolzuurprikkeling. Redelijk bittere nasmaak maar toch nog vrij mild. Goed spul die Society & Solitudes, maar de veschillende versies lijken wel op elkaar.

From previous pics (also on Google Maps), this pub must have had a complete makeover in recent years. Looked very nice though. No Young's anymore, Harvey's is now the provider of casks. Lovely to see Harvey's in London, even though the beers themselves were soso. All other beers were kegs, most of them lagers. We were there on a Friday night, it was very busy and loud, to the point of being rowdy, but the atmosphere was good. Food was your average pub grub, but in large amounts so you won't leave hungry. Lots of fries though.... Visit (only) if you have enough time, it's not too far from St. Pancras station.

Visited on a Monday night early January. Still quite some visitors, most of which seemed locals. Just background music, so plenty of opportunity to talk. Of the 7 handpumps they have, 3 are ciders, the rest cask ales. The Fearles Nomad brewery seems to be in the back of the beer garden (which I didn't see, as it was dark). Production is so small that they usually have just one of their own beers available. Most other beers were local/regional. This pub had a great neighbourhood feel to it, felt very homey/comfy, the beer was certainly interesting, and I'm sure that if I were a local, I'd be a regular.

Zwarte body en een mooie bruine kraag die na een minuut of 2 toch helemaal inzakt. Geur is heerlijk bourbon, zoet, vanille, lichtjes umami, hout. Retronasaal is het zoet, bourbon, vanille, koffie, iets houtig. Smaak is zoetig tot zoet met wat boozy alcohol en licht geroosterde bitterheid. Medium body, had iets voller gekund, maar de fijne carbonatie geeft het toch nog een beetje meer. Lange afdronk met veel (donkere) chocola en lichte bitterheid.

Het laatste beetje in de fles latend schenkt dit mooi helder, goudgeel, en flink wat hobbelig schuim met goede retentie. Geur is zeer fruitig en wat granig/wortig. Graan/wort is wat meer naar de voorgrond in de mond. Smaak is wortig en vooral fruitig, bijna zurig. Licht body, maar niet te dun. Smaak blijft hangen, maar er ontwikkelt zich geen nieuwe smaak, zeker geen bitterheid.
