Nice small pub. Comfortable, laid back. Great place for a pint.

Strong alcohol aroma - hints of rice and soy sauce. Looks exactly like water. Primarily soy sauce flavor with a slight hint of lemon- served cold it's pretty smooth. As this is my first sake rating the number are a bit arbitrary especially with the flavor rating.

Rice and alcohol aroma primarily - hints of cream and mint. Watery milk appearance - looks like a melted pina colada. Moderate rice, soy sauce and alcohol flavors primarily - slight hint of lemon and a creamy finish. Has a fine gritty consistency. Nice but very different.|8/21/2005 12:52:50 PM|Japan||KYOTO Prefecture|Saké - Nigori

Nice rice wine, butter, soy sauce and alcohol aroma. Light yellow color. Initially very waterlike then rice and soy flavors gradually come out and finishes with a mild alcohol burn finish. A fairly subtle and clean tasting sake - well balanced with no flavor coming out too strong.
