Draft at the Heart of Darkness taproom HCMC. Poured a mostly clear golden colour with a short-lived, frothy white head and some broken lace. The aroma is light citrus fruits. The flavour is moderate to light bitter and sweet, with a fresh, smooth, light toffee caramel malt, light aromatic floral, light hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average to soft carbonation.

Typical Pasteur Street bar. Nice inside and very expensively decorated. It’s located at the entrance of the Bui Vien walking street and that’s probably its main attraction. They have around 20 seats at the front of the bar facing the neon covered entrance. Take one of those seats if you can. Beer wise there really isn’t anything special here other than the standard fare. They were not even serving regular food on the night I came either, only BBQ skewers that nobody wanted. Come for the lights. It’s not worth coming for the beer. Working WiFi and the staff her nice and helpful. The beer is not outrageously expensive, but it’s still almost three times the price of Rooster Beer which is just 50m away.
