Sweetish, minimally floral and a little grassy aroma of grains and some straw with a touch of corn flakes. Slightly sweet, gently dry, moderately bitter and minimally floral taste of grains, straw, some nettles and light corn flakes, followed by a short, moderately bitter, quite dry finish. Thin to medium body, gently effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Drinkable.

0.33 l bottle from 'EDEKA Knudtsen', best before June 2026. Hazy, deep ruby with a medium large, frothy, almost stable, off-white head. Sweetish-malty, bready aroma of caramel, burnt sugar, bread crust and some grains. Rather sweet, malty, minimally fruity taste of caramel, burnt sugar, bread crust, some grains and light raisins, followed by a short, hardly bitter finish. Medium to full body, smooth and almost creamy mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Tasty!

Sweetish, gently fruity and slightly yeasty-spicy aroma of lemon, some banana and light clove. Quite sweet, moderately bitter, gently fruity and slightly yeasty-spicy taste of lemon, banana, some clove and a touch of grains, followed by a short, moderately bitter, minimally tartish finish. Medium body, smooth and gently effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Really decent variant, Weizenbier still in the back.

Sweetish, minimally sourish, gently fruity aroma of lots of cola, lemonade and some orange. Fairly sweet, minimally sourish, quite fruity taste of cola, lemonade and some orange, followed by a short, hardly bitter, a little tartish finish. Medium body, minimally astringent and gently effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Quite pleasant as a soft drink, no beer whatsoever.

Sweetish-malty, minimally fruity aroma of caramel, burnt sugar, some raisins and light bread crust. Rather sweet, malty, minimally roasty and a little fruity taste of caramel, burnt sugar, bread crust, toasted grains and light raisins, followed by a short, hardly bitter, minimally roasty finish. Medium body, smooth and slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Nice Malzbier.

0.33 l can from 'DeBiersalon.nl', best before December 2030. Pitch black with a medium large, frothy, almost stable, beige head. Sweetish-malty, gently roasty aroma of dark chocolate, coffee, hazelnut, caramel and a touch of vanilla. Very sweet, malty, quite roasty, moderately bitter taste of dark chocolate, mocha, roasted hazelnut, some caramel and hints of vanilla, followed by a long, fairly roasty-bitter finish. Full body, smooth and slightly creamy mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Great mouthfeel, rather intense and heavy overall.
