Bottle from the local Biomarkt. Sharing this with the dough of the bread for tomorrow evenings tasting. Hazy chestnut with tan head. Rich roast and chocolate wort aroma. Medium body, sweet of course, a bit sticky, but not cloying. Light spice with the dark sugar, malt flavor. Dry dark caramel finish, light hops, pleasant balance. Quite allright actually.

Bottle 33 cll. Pours a cloudy brown with an orange hue and a creamy and lacing, beige head. Dusty, sweet caramel and chicory aroma. Almost medium body, more of the above sweet (milk) chocolate accents. Absolutely no hop bitterness. Not any worse than most other Malzbiers. 260925

0.33 l bottle from 'EDEKA Knudtsen', best before June 2026. Hazy, deep ruby with a medium large, frothy, almost stable, off-white head. Sweetish-malty, bready aroma of caramel, burnt sugar, bread crust and some grains. Rather sweet, malty, minimally fruity taste of caramel, burnt sugar, bread crust, some grains and light raisins, followed by a short, hardly bitter finish. Medium to full body, smooth and almost creamy mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Tasty!
