Very resiny nose, which surprises, not really giving the expected Pacific hoparomas. Still a very pleasing beer.

Metallic gold, gunpowder. Green weeds, herbal. Smoke pales in time, but is strong at first, and the beer has not the classical Champenoise carbonation.

Bit (too) yellow colour for the style. Bready, herbal, phenolic, ginger-like. Very lively carbonation.
