The next beer might even be better. B.C."H." = British Cask "Head" - to be perceived as some disparate lonely looking bubbles, uncertain of their CO² content, and because of their scarcity, of undefinable colour. UFO's: Unspeakable Floating Obscenities MF: NO, that isn't it. That's mouthfeel, in civilized countries. I hereby solemny propose a law to be instated by all beergeeks, -amateurs, -lovers, -tasters, - enthusiasts that forthwith the use of the infernal spice, known as coriander, is forbidden for at least the five first years of brewing, and later only to be tolerated by explicit consent of minimum five different accredited beerorganisations. Infringements ought to be sanctioned by denouncement to the international beerpress and public drainpour of the offending brew.

Head gone in an eyeblink over faintly hazy orangey-golden beer. Wood, mushrooms, moss, mould, orangepeel, horseblanket. Peach or other stonefruit, giving a faint sweetish impression, even when Madeira is yet another mile. Faintly soapy, again orangepeel, old barrels. Finish is lemon, lemonblossom, woodruff. Lipsmacking acidity, even when the beer is quite mals. Soft carbonation. Quite nice, original. Yet, I'm missing a bit more Madeira touch. Txs to Stef!

Huge, fluffy white head over well-carbonated golden beer. Very obviously spicy aroma; lavender? lemonbalm? ...? but also dishwashing fluid, rubber gloves. Again this spice, unidentified, joined by banana, vanilla even Bourbon indeed. Alcohol seriously ups the sweetness. Alcoholwarming, very slick to oily, soft carbonation in the ende. Not my kind of beer to be honest. I keep claiming that Bourbon aging a strong blond beer is not the best idea. Txs to Stef!

Cream head gone in seconds over red-brown beer. Dark green leaves, breadcrust, sweet malt- and other sugars. Hint at alcohol, yet not really sweet, drier. Liquorice, nutty. Quite slick to chewy, good carbonation. Quite OK. Scheldebrouwerij : usually decent, seldom spectacular. Txs to Stef!

Medium to good, quite stable cream head, bit fluffy even over red-brown beer. Nutty, bready, hint @ human sweat, sugary dark malts. Sweet, bready, wet cardboard, rosejam. Lots of (dark) malts, toffee. Feels well-bodied, really gristslick, well-carbonated, chewy. OK, even better but again (too) sugary.

Sampled as Starkenberger bock Der Festbock 2025 6.5% Small cream-coloured head over reddish-amber, fully hazy beer. Fresh worts' nose, brown bread, even sourdough, autumn leaves, rosepetals. Sweet, bready, breadcrust, autumn leaves, even just a bit earthy. Quite slick to oily, well-carbonated. Light if quite OK Bock (or bock, if they prefer).
