7.1/10 Appearance 6 Aroma 7 Flavor 7 Texture 7 Overall 8
On tap at Chuck’s Greenwood, pours a clear blonde with a small white head. Aroma has a nice mixture of rose petal, light peppercorn, and grassy hops. Flavour is nicely floral, with a real nice rose petal character, light hoppy bitterness, and crisp biscuity malt base. Nicely floral and airy palate. Good stuff.

8/10 Appearance 8 Aroma 8 Flavor 8 Texture 8 Overall 8
On tap at Chuck’s Greenwood, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma is complex and deep, with apple brandy, generic spirit, light bourbon, and dark sugars. Flavour is intense and complex, with huge apple brandy barrel, bitters (from the Nocino), some roast, liqueur, and dark fruits. Not sweet at all, just really nicely barreled. Complex and well-rounded. Excellent.

8/10 Appearance 8 Aroma 7 Flavor 8.5 Texture 8 Overall 8.5
On tap at Chuck’s Greenwood, pours a clear golden with a small white head. Aroma is fairly restrained, with gentle tangy hops and light pine. Flavour is more robust, with tangy NZ hops—gooseberry, white wine grapes—along with pine and light biscuity malt. Clean, vibrant and highly drinkable. Excellent.

6.4/10 Appearance 6 Aroma 7 Flavor 7 Texture 5 Overall 6
On tap at Chuck’s Greenwood, pours a cloudy orange amber, no head. Aroma has tart cherries, some farmhouse notes, and a touch of oak. Flavour is fairly acidic, with intense tart cherries, oak, some wild beast, and some earthiness. The acidity is rather bracing but there’s undeniable complexity. Good but a bit harsh.
