Bottle sample at WBF 2025, pours a clear bronze. Aroma has rich honey nectar, old furniture, and light floral notes. Flavour is rich, with rich treacly honey nectar and some old furniture. Rich, syrupy and yet refined. Excellent.

On tap at WBF 2025, pours an opaque muddled yellow with chunks—looks vile. Aroma brings out banana, mango, a touch of coconut and sugars. Flavour is full of banana puree, mango pith, yeast soup, and alcohol. Slightly better than expected, which isn’t saying much. This is dumb.

On tap at WBF 2025, pours a hazy golden with a small white head. Aroma has a vibrant tropical character, a bit of boozy hop liqueur, and sweet malt. Flavour is boozy, with lots of hop liqueur, tropical notes, and sweet malt. A bit abrasive but it comes together. Good.

On tap at WBF 2025, pours a dark amber brown with a small beige head. Aroma has a nice vanillin character, toasted malt, and bready malt. Flavour has a lot of the palo, with tons of liquorice, wood, and toasted malt. Unusual but successful experiment. Very good.
