On tap at The Bishops Arms Gamla Stan, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma is full of rich roasted malt, black liquorice, and a touch of wood. Flavour is very rich, with lots of black liquorice, bourbon, red wine, and roast. A bit abrasive but everything works together pretty well. Pleasant slow sipper that needs a bit of ironing out.

Flavour is malty and dry, with bready malt, a slight herbal character, and a touch of dry caramel. Clean and well-brewed. Pleasant.

On tap at The Bishops Arms Gamla Stan, pours a hazy golden with a medium white head. Aroma brings out bready malt, spicy hops, and a little pine. Flavour has plenty of spicy hops, piney notes, and bready malt. Spicy, piney and dry finish. Very good, even if the hops are a bit dull.

On tap at Mikkeller Södermalm, pours a clear golden with a small white head. Aroma has a weird sweaty hop character, moderate earthiness, and bready malt. Flavour is much the same, with a sweaty, armpity hop character dominating. Finished dry and sweaty. Not happy with this hop expression.

On tap at Mikkeller Södermalm, pours a hazy golden blonde with a small white head. Aroma has toasted grains and gentle herbal notes. Flavour has a nice clean toasted grain character, along with straw and biscuity malt. Lots of toasted grains on the finish. Solid.

On tap at Mikkeller Södermalm, pours a clear blonde with a small white head — doesn’t look like a hazy. Aroma has tropical stone fruits, melon, gentle chalk, and resinous hops. Flavour is fruity, with plenty of melon, chaotic booze, tropical fruits, and resins. A bit boozy and uncoordinated but pleasant.
