On tap at Casa Manigua, pours a clear pale golden blonde with a large white head. Aroma smells proper, with rustic saison yeast, a touch of white pepper. Flavour somehow works, expressing the saison yeast very well—no esters, no sugars—just a solid rusfic character. This is bizarrely great.

Just a 5-minute walk from Barbaros and another worthwhile stop in Bogota. They had 5 beers on tap. I asked if they did a taster flight, so the bartender just brought me a "flight" (served in a paddle) of 5 beers in 1-2 oz pours (for free). The smallest draft pour is a 500mL pour, but they have 330mL bottles, so I just ordered one of my favourite of the beers I sampled: surprisingly, a saison, which was brewed extremely competently. Friendly bartender, who didn't speak much English, but was very helpful with Google translate. Definitely worth a stop in Bogota.

On tap at Casa Manigua, pours a clear golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out subdued earthy hops, some pine, and biscuity malt. Flavour has a sort of overripe stone fruit character, white pepper, light pine, and bready malt. Unusual hop expression, but it works. Pleasant.

On tap at Casa Manigua, pours a clear pale golden with a medium white head. Aroma has herbaceous notes, light vegetal character, and crisp biscuity malt. Flavour is much the same, with gentle herbaceous character, a bit too vegetal, and crisp biscuity malt. Nice herbaceous character on the finish. Pleasant.

On tap at Barbaros, pours a clear pale golden blonde with a small white head. Nose has plenty of dankness, piney hops, and crisp biscuity malt. Flavour is fairly dank, with big dank, pot-like hops, some pine, and just enough biscuity malt to back. Damn, this is potent and well-hopped. Excellent.

On tap at Barbaros, pours a clear amber brown with a small beige head. Aroma has some gentle roast, toasted bready malt, and some piney hops. Flavour is nicely balanced, with toasted malt bordering on roast and gentle earthy piney hops. Nicely balanced, though I want more oomph on this style. But in Colombia, this effort is truly appreciated.
