On tap at Barbaros, pours a clear blonde with a small white head. Aroma has some earthy, piney hops, and crisp biscuity malt. Flavour is clean, with gentle bittering hops, some pine, and crisp biscuity malt. Needs more hops but the expression is pleasant and this is balanced. Not bad.

On tap at Barbaros, pours anglers blonde with a small white head. Aroma is full of grassiness and straw. Flavour is clean, but somewhat skunky, with grass and biscuity malt. A little too skunky but not egregious.

Tiny hole in the wall near Casa Manigua. Only 4 beers on tap, but they were on the more interesting side and well-executed given the typical quality in Bogota. No flights, but the bartender gave me fresh, 1-2 oz pours of all beers first. Only one size (somewhere between 400-500mL pours) for about $21K pesos (~$5.60 USD). The black IPA and WCDIPA were particularly good. Good stop -- definitely worth prioritizing for higher quality Colombian beers.

Very close to Bruder and Gigante, this is yet another nice spot in this neighbourhood. 8 or so taps, but mostly totally uninteresting styles (ginger ale, honey ale, etc.). No flights; smallest pour is 330mL (about $4 USD). We tried their IPA and sweet stout, both of which were very timid and lacking depth, but at least not offensive. Friendly service, but no English spoken. Not one of the better breweries.

330mL bottle, pours a clear dark amber with a small beige head. Aroma has some bready malts, stale toffee, and some brown sugar. Flavour is better, with sweet bready malt, caramel, brown sugar, and toffee. Actually pretty reasonably done, with a nice gentle malt presence for a barley wine. Decent.
