Golden with a white head. Malt on the sweetish side, grain, a touch of spice. Medium bodied. Finishes slightly sweet. Middle of the road but for a NA it’s solid. Definitely feels like you’re drinking a proper beer, so that’s nice.

Black with a beige head. Big cinnamon notes with dark chocolate, molasses, caramel, sweet vanilla ice cream, and roasted coffee. Full bodied. Finish has a sweet berry note. I don’t see how this has anything to do with Stroopwafel.

Golden copper with a white head. Slightly sweet malt, dough, a hint of noble hop spice. Medium bodied. A nice beer but a little boring maybe.

This is a beer stall in the Cadiz market but easily has the best selection of beers I’ve seen in the area. The market itself is a bustling environment with loads of food stalls, so while they don’t serve food here you can easily get food elsewhere and enjoy with the beer. The service is friendly and quick and the prices are more than fair. The draw is the selection. Sure, they have Estrella on tap cause this is Andalusia, but they also have Chouffe, local IPAs, German stuff, etc. And the bottle selection is really astounding for the size and location. Lambics, De Garre, Rochefort, Spanish craft, German stuff, just a really wide and well-curated selection. This is a must hit when in Cadiz.

A fairly decent size pub that also likes to put on live music. Nothing really special about the place but they have a decent tap and bottle lineup, though not gonna blow your socks off. IPA, stout and a variety of lager on tap. Some more interesting bottles. Service was friendly. A fine place for a solid beer when in need of a break from the sightseeing.

A fairly standard expat centric Irish Pub. The decor is classic exported Irish Pub- not knocking it- it’s nice. Service was quick and friendly. The Guinness was alright though for the area probably one of the better pints you’re gonna get. Had an IPA and a couple ciders on as well as Murphy’s Irish Red. Pints ran at 5€ for Guinness or Strongbow, which is a fair price. A decent selection of whisky. Futbol on the telly. Scratches the itch when wanting this kind of pub.

A bit cloudy orange with a tall, firm head. Notes of bread dough, grass, a bit of bright citrus, malt. Medium bodied. Finish has a light zing. Really nice.
