Clear light golden, airy white head. Malty, grainy aroma, mild, slightly floral hops. Malty and increasingly grainy flavour, not much hops. Not exactly thin but really lacking in flavour.

Located inside the Maxwell hawker centre. Small booth with 12 taps plus a fridge. Quite nice if you like the busy atmosphere of a food market. Nice varied selection, friendly chatty service, usual Singapore prices. Would actually prefer this to other, more traditional beer bars in Singapore.

Tap @Ren Min, Maxwell, Singapore. Clear golden, white head. Hoppy passionfruit and mild caramely aroma. Caramely, hoppy fruity flavour, more passionfruit and some pine towards the finish.

Singaporean can, 6%. Black, rocky beige head. Malty licorice aroma. Roasted malty flavour, some licorice but not as much qs in the aroma. Malty sweet but also a decent roasted bitterness. Ok.

Can, 3.8%. Clear light golden, white head. Sweet malt aroma, gonts of cornflakes. Sweet malty flavour, slightly bready with mild hoppy bitterness. Funny how these Asian pale lagers are always a little bit better in their natural habitat...

Clear light amber, lasting offwhite head. Mild hoppy grapefruit aroma. Malty, citrusy flavour, piney, dry. Nice dry mouthfeel. Also a little bready, but that is probably to be expected from the Brøl concept...
