A: clear golden, small, foamy, white head.
A: grape, pine, onion, sweat, mint, grapefruit.
T: sweetish grape, bitter grapefruit, spicy shallot.
F: bitter piney hops, grape, mint.
P: medium body, slick texture, soft carbonation.
Just the right amount of everything, not very outspoken.

24 December 2025. Christmas Eve tasting - cheers to the family! Can from Gedeelde Vreugde.

A: hazy dark green, quickly thinning, off-white head.
A: pistachio, fruit pie, vanilla pudding, caramel sauce.
T: sour kiwi, tomato, guava, lemon curd, pudding.
F: tart kiwi, lemon, subtle pistachio.
P: medium body, thin creamy texture, soft carbonation.
Quite messy, but not bad for a beer past its best.

A: hazy black, big, stable, foamy, beige head.
A: star aniseed, clove, coffee pad, grapefruit peel.
T: sweetish brambleberry, sourish citrus zest, aniseed, some toast.
F: earthy hops, some soapy spiciness, coffee residue.
P: medium body, slick texture, average carbonation.
Not bad, but not excelling anywhere.

Can from Gedeelde Vreugde.
A: hazy pink, stable, foamy, off-white head.
A: raspberry jam, redcurrant, fruit cake, lemon.
T: sweetish-sourish raspberry, lemon, yoghurt, jam.
F: tart berries, yoghurt, lemon.
P: medium body, fluffy texture, soft carbonation.
Not too sharp; just a fun Sour!

A: plums, orange peel, grapefruit, apricot, honey.
T: sweetish orange peel, softly bitter grapefruit, apricot stone.
F: quite bitter, resinous hops, orange peel, herbs.
P: medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation.

A: red grape, redcurrant, wood, cherry, ruby port.
T: sour cherry & grape, vinegar, leather, almond.
F: tart cherry pit, wood, bitter cherry skin.
P: medium body, slick texture, soft carbonation.
Easy-going Red.

T: bittersweet grain, yeast, bread crust.
F: grain, very vague grassy hops.
P: light to medium body, watery texture, soft carbonation.
Still some flavour and (malt) body to be found.

A: oxidised apple, wort, cardboard.
T: sour green apple.
F: tart green apple, cardboard.
P: light body, watery texture, soft carbonation.
Bit of an odd one out when it comes to country ticks, but it's just not good (anymore).
