A: cloudy black, stable, foamy, beige head.
A: coffee powder, fondant, charred meat, tobacco.
T: sweetish fig, bitter fondant, coffee, umami olive.
F: dry, earthy hops, coffee, tobacco, warming whisky-like alcohol.
P: full body, creamy texture, soft carbonation.
A bit too roasty and hefty to really let the raisins shine, from memory the original Black Pudding is better.
A: clear golden, stable, foamy, white head.
A: melon, grapefruit, citrus peel, pear, dough.
T: sweetish melon & pear, bitter grapefruit, dough, clove.
F: peppery hops, yellow fruits, bitter grapefruit, citrus pith.
P: medium body, slick texture, average carbonation.
Decent bitterness but a bit too run-of-the-mill.

Hazy dark red, small, foamy, pink head. Aroma of cherry pit, almond, vanilla, wood, barnyard, horse steak, blue cheese. Taste has very sour cherry, nectarine, funky barnyard & blue cheese in an almondy malt body, lactic acid flowing throughout. Tart cherry skin in the finish, providing drying woody tannins. Medium body, moussy texture, average carbonation. Intense, complex and elegant.
Hazy dark red, small, foamy, pink head. Aroma of pure cherry & cherry pit, red grape, almond, redcurrant, raspberry coulis, jam. Taste has very sour cherry, redcurrant, touch of red grape in an almondy, jam-like malt body. Tart cherry flesh & skin dominating the finish. Medium body, slick texture, soft carbonation. Very intense.
Clear golden, thin, off-white head. Aroma of damp cellar, musty wood, vinegar, overripe apricot, orange rind, straw. Taste has very sour orange, apricot & grape in a sourdough-malty body with funky vinegar & leather notes. Tart grape skin in the finish, vinegar and very dry woody tannins. Medium body, moussy texture, average carbonation. More complex than the 'Majesty's Secret Service' counterpart, a tad more challenging too, but very good.
