1-, 2-, 3- & 4-year-old lambic. The blend aged for more than two years in an old Carcavelos barrel. Carcavelos is a rare Portuguese fortified wine, known for its delicate oxidative character and layered sweetness - notes that subtly shaped the maturation of this blend. The name On Her Majesty's Secret Service comes from the 1969 James Bond film, which was partly shot in Lisbon and the Algarve.

30 January 2026. GBV Lucky Ass Tasting (@ Baracuna). Cheers to the whole crew!
Clear golden, thin, off-white head. Aroma of overripe peach & apricot, straw, goat cheese, sherry. Taste has sour apricot, peach & grape surrounded by funky vinegar, straw and lactic acid notes. Tart finish of sone fruit, grape skin and warming sherry-like alcohol. Medium body, slick texture, soft carbonation. Elegant and relatively easy-drinking.
