Can. Hazy orange gold beer, small bubbly pale cream colour head. Airy smooth palate, mildly dry, late developing fine minerally carbonation. Soft pale malts, a nice airy creamy sweetness. Ubiquitous cooling pine. A mild hop spice nip. Hop fruity goodness, orangey citrus, touch of tangerine, seamlessly blended with stone fruits and floral papaya. Motueka and Strata are bit part players, a little floral lime and a forensic amount of passion fruit. I would not have a Danny La Rue if I didn't know it was here. A little hop spice grumble on the end. If Motueka and Strata had had louder voices here, it would have been comfortably into the top division. Still, a rather good dipa.

Panda thanks to Cloin. A mild haze on this gold beer, small bubbly pale cream colour head. Light palate, a good fine minerally crispness. Slightly thin malts for a DIPA, but sweet enough. Cooling pine into candy fruits and mild Nelson grape. Mild watery citrus underneath. Light crispy finish. It's fine but, Beak regularly do much better than this.

Panda thanks to Cloin. Just a mild haze on this gold beer, small and short lived bubbly pale cream colour head. Slightly thin palate, mildly dry, decent fine minerally carbonation. Thin pale malts, a fair creamy sweetness imparted. Light cooling pine. Eggers enigmatics. Mild mild skunk, light but bright citrussy notes, a little floral candy. NS sits in the back ground. Light finish. Pleasant but a tad thin in the mouth overall and just needs more hop welly.

Panda thanks to Cloin. A mild haze on this gold beer, small bubbly pale cream colour head. Thinnish palate, a little dry, decent fine minerally carbonation. Thin pale malts, certainly sweet enough. Light cooling pine into an unexpectedly forward candy fruits vibe. Watery grape on the back end. Light finish. A bit left field. Too much candy for my liking. Weakest in this series so far.

Panda thanks to Cloin. Near clear gold beer, small bubbly pale cream colour head. Thin palate, a mild dryness, modest fine minerally carbonation. Thin pale malts, a mild sweetness imparted. Soft cooling pine. Semi ripe citrus, a tad watery, mild citrus peel. Light finish. Maybe a transition brew for someone interested in getting in to craft beer. For an old soak like me, quite bland.

Panda thanks to Cloin. A light haze on this gold beer, small bubbly pale cream colour head. Light palate, a mild dryness, good fine minerally carbonation. Thin but smooth pale malts, fairly sweet I think, not always easy to tell when you have loads of a hop like Dolcita in the mix. Sabro like coconut with a little ripe pineapple and that limey Sorachi thing going on, very loud and very clear. Cooling pine. Maybe a trace of Cashmere melon, if I didn't know it was here, well... Light and mildly dry finish. A decent pale ale that certainly delivers the bonkers Dolcita.

Panda thanks to Cloin. Near clear amber brown beer, small bubbly pale tan head. Airy palate, decent fine minerally carbonation. Soft malts, an oaty sweetness and a mild tangy chocolate. Soft pine into mild but juicy citrus, the back end dominated by candy fruits. Light finish. Not bad, good malt base but unusually for Phantom, needs more hops.

Panda thanks to Cloin. A light haze on this gold beer, small and short lived bubbly pale cream colour head. Slightly thin palate, mildly dry, decent fine minerally carbonation. Thin malt mouthfeel, sweet enough, a little too sweet for me. Cooling pine into perfumey candy fruits. Touch of Nelson, if you are looking for it. Soft and somewhat ripe citrus. Smooth finish. Overall too sweet in my book.

Panda thanks to Cloin. Not far from a clear gold beer, small bubbly pale cream colour head. Light palate, a little dry, decent fine minerally carbonation. Thin malts, a mild grain and a modest sweetness. The intriguing hop combo falls well flat for me. Cooling pine, modest overripe grape and a mild watery citrus. Light finish. Good idea, poor delivery.
