Can. Near clear dark brown beer, small bubbly pale tan head. Smooth palate, reasonable fine carbonation, fine for this style. Obvious caramel malts, slightly tangy, some notion of ripe fruits. The whiskey barrel sits fairly lightly, for me, it could sit a lot harder. Tangy ripe fruits, mildly rich. A whisper of oak barrel induced vanilla. In my head, this was going to be better.

Can. A hazy orange gold beer, small bubbly pale cream colour head. Airy smooth palate, develops good fine minerally carbonation on the back end. Light pale malts, a nice light creamy sweetness. Hops bring soft cooling pine into a slightly tangy and damp hop skunk. Hop fruits deliver bright rich citrus and stone fruits. Hop spice. Light spicy skunky savoury finish leaves a hop spicy linger. Good all round affair. Skunk, spice, punchy hop fruits. Now deliver that with less yeast and make me even happier!

Can. A light haze on this yellowish gold beer, small bubbly pale cream colour head. Airy palate, mildly dry, a good fine minerally crispness. Light bodied pale malts bring a pleasant and nicely judged sweetness. Hops bring crisp cooling pine into bright pineapple, slightly candyish. Underpinned by tangy stone fruits. The other hops fill in the background well. A little hop spice on the light crisp finish. Interesting. Second swing at HBC1183. This time, I immediately noticed the similarity to Luna. Interesting..... Anyway a nice punchy hop fruit IPA.

Soft pale malts, a light creamy sweetness. Hops bring soft pine and a kinda dried fruit - crystallised fruity brightness and slightly candy flavour. Defo a little candy pineapple. Light finish. Pleasant. Needs some hop edge and welly without doubt but pleasant anyway

A little more sugary sweetness than cream, curious. Soft pine into juicy if ripe citrus, smooth ripe stone fruits. Candy fruits on the light finish. Not bad, lacks any hop brightness or edge but, flavoursome anyhow.

Panda thanks to Wingman. Hazy orange gold beer, a reasonable bubbly pale cream colour head. Airy palate, a mild dryness, reasonable fine carbonation. Light bodied smooth pale malts, a fair creamy sweetness. Soft pine intro into the hops, soft and brief. Overripe citrus, a little fresher citrus zing underneath. Some broad spectrum Galaxy goodness but, getting slightly tangy. Light finish. Fairly punchy hop fruits, coulda been brighter tasting for me.

Hops bring light pine, a mild bitterness and a little hop spice. Light but bright hop fruits. Pineapple, a little citrus, touch of stone fruits. Light finish. Refreshingly clean and light on yeast.

A little soft pine. Traces of more interesting and pleasing hop fruits but, hard to get excited about with the, for me, other major flaws. A little hop spice on the soft finish. Nope.

Light smooth pale malts, a nice level of creamy sweetness. Peacharine hops shining here. Slightly overripe peach offset by peach candy. Soft pine. Touch of Nectarine. A very mild bitterness on the back end. Rather nice.
