Can. Thanks to Wolf..A light haze on this amber beer, small and short lived bubbly pale tan head. Light palate, semi dry, good fine minerally carbonation. Thin bodied malts, a thin caramel and cream sweetness. Crisp bright pine and pretty mild Calvados booze and floral apple. Acacia wood? Strewth! It's been awhile but the slightly sweet and floral woodiness, rings true. Fair bit of boozy spice on the finish along with, a fair dose of sweet esters. A charmingly naieive Barleywine. No malt depth at all but, the other elements combine well enough to entertain.

Panda thanks to Wingman. Near clear deep brown beer, small and short lived bubbly dark tan head. Fairly smooth palate but also, a tad thin for the style and mildly dry. Good fine minerally carbonation. The slightly thin bodied dark malts impact super boozy and rich chocolate cake. Punchy boozy bourbon. The added savoury elements come through on the spicy back end but are never a central part of this overall beer, not for me anyway! Still, great fun and, the Transient intensity, just keeps coming.

Panda thanks to Wingman. Near opaque dark brown beer, small bubbly tan head. Smooth palate, mildly dry, reasonable fine carbonation. Pretty mellow dark malts for the style and the hefty abv. Some biscuity dark chocolate and powdery dark chocolate. Slightly spicy bourbon soaked fruits. Woody bitterness coming through on the back. Leaves a mildly warming afterglow. Drinks easy for the massive abv, other than that, an alright ba Impy that won't live too long in the memory.

Panda thanks to Wingman. Pretty much an opaque dark brown beer, small and short lived bubbly dark tan head. Smooth palate, fairly light all told, a modest dryness and decent fine carbonation. Transient intensity bursts out of the glass. Super rich chocolate cake / chocolate torte. Ripe fruity chocolate segues seamlessly into the punchy fruity whisky and whisky alcohol spice. Fairly light finish. Long spicy linger. Woof! Intense!

Panda thanks to Wingman. Near opaque dark brown beer, small bubbly tan head. Airy palate, semi dry, decent fine carbonation. Thin bodied dark malts but, delivering tangy dark chocolate and cocoa. Quite a hot bourbon barrel delivery, ripe bourbon soaked fruits. Some savoury wet wood and a touch of oak induced vanilla. Light hot finish. A pretty tidy affair overall but, just a little hot. Tangy rich bourbon linger.

Can. A light haze on this yellowish gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Airy palate, quite light and mildly dry, decent fine minerally carbonation. Light malts, a pleasant light creamy sweetness. Soft pine and some mild but, contrasting hop spice. HBC1019 is not as weighty as it could be but, still shines through with it's bonkers Sorachi / Sabro mash up. Mellow limey citrus. A trace of Nelson grapey tang. The light finish brings a mildly bitter edge. Good show. Finds a decent balance between the hops.

Can. A medium haze on this gold beer, good size pale cream colour head, persistent. Smooth palate, mildly dry, decent fine minerally carbonation. Light smooth pale malts, a nice light creamy sweetness. The quartet of Kiwi hops are delivered with aplomb. Cooling pine into surprisingly punchy Nelson, obvious gooseberry and grape. Riwaka lychee and a touch of Motueka floral lime that goes well with late emerging, slightly tangy and slightly ripe lemon, presumably Pac Sunrise. A few esters I could do without but, overall, this brew is a fine IPA and, to be honest, well exceeded my preconceptions.

Can. Hazy gold beer, good size pale cream colour head, persistent top boot! Airy palate, mildly dry, good fine minerally carbonation. Fluffy pale malts, a light but forward creamy sweetness. Nice Superdelic hops, these new Kiwi beauties with the godawful name, really are something. Really hop terroir spread does not remove their spark. Red berries and candy, a little tropical fruits. Pretty decent Nelson here, by 2025 standards, gooseberry and mild grape. Citra sits there in the background and holds it all together. Airy finish. Nice apa, very satisfying in the hop department. Super drinkable.

Can. Just a light haze on this slightly pale gold beer, good size pale cream colour head. Airy palate, mildly dry, reasonable fine minerally carbonation. Fluffy pale malts, a thin milky sweetness is marring this one from the get-go. Hops bring slightly watery stone fruits and citrus and a little candy fruits. Light smooth finish. It's not a bad beer but by Phantom standards falling short in several areas. Colour me underwhelmed.

Can. Just a light haze on this gold beer, decent size pale cream colour head. Light palate, mildly dry, good fine minerally carbonation. Light malts, slightly thin bodied, a very light creamy sweetness. A pleasant if light hop profile. Cooling pine, a pinch of hop spice. Tropical fruits and citrus, slightly tangy. This brew has a tidy flavour profile, just a bit thin bodied and could do with a little more welly overall.
