Pleasant bourbon soaked ripe fruits. Rich. Spicy finish. A pleasant affair but, one of those BWs that is flirting with impy stout territory. Nice chocolate linger.

Blueberry and other berry fruits along with a little liqueur spice. Airy finish. Tidy and drinkable for the abv.

Airy pale malts, a forward creamy sweetness. Hops are ... underwhelming... Soft pine. Modest ripe fruits, slightly candyish citrus and stone fruits, mild tropical fruits. Airy finish. Hype.

Bottleshare at CBJ. Thanks to Wingman for the bottle. Near clear brown beer, small bubbly tan head. Airy palate, smooth and mildly dry, decent fine minerally carbonation. Soft malts, very nice cream and caramel, a little toffee. None of it heavy or cloying. Toasty wood, touch of vanilla. Port barrel brings tawny port ripe fruits and a little red port berries. Smooth finish leaves a mildly spicy port linger. Woooh. Super duper BW. One of those occasions when the HF hype is really justified.
