Panda thanks to Cloin. A mild to medium haze on this gold beer, small bubbly pale cream colour head. Airy palate, mildly dry, good fine minerally carbonation. Light smooth pale malts, a pleasant light creamy sweetness. Hops bite from the get go. A refreshing bitter edge along with mild hop spice. Juicy if slightly ripe Krush goodness and a fair smack of Motueka lime on the back end. Comes together well into a most satisfying affair. What?

Can. Hazy orange gold beer, small bubbly pale cream colour head. Airy palate, mildly dry, good fine minerally carbonation. Soft pale malts, a smooth creamy sweetness. Soft cooling pine and a mild hop spice nibble. Soft but pleasing Nelson grape, not as punchy as the previous Azvex brew. Pretty mild Mosaic candy fruits. Soft orange - mango runs throughout. Light finish. Pleasingly fruity.

Can. Clear deep amber beer, small and short lived bubbly tan head. Smooth palate, modest fine carbonation, fine for this brew. Soft rich caramel and toffee malts underpinned by a smooth malt cream. The barrelling is quite something. Soft but rich bourbon and bourbon soaked ripe fruits. Wonderful cherry brandy richness that goes superbly with the bourbon. Super duper. Good solid barleywine that tastes like it would be good before it visited the barrels. The barrels take this to another level altogether. Sublime.

Can. Hazy orange gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Light minerally crisp palate, fairly dry. Slightly thin bodied pale malts, mildly sweet. Crisp cooling pine and a decent hop spice nibble. Right then, this brew was delivered with Nelson Bliss, Riwaka, Strata, Eclipse and Manilita hops. Trouble is, as with a few Sparkle DIPAs of recent consumption, there is a little bit of a soapy note intertwined with the crisp cooling pine. Not really getting the gamut of hop fruits I would expect from a hop bill like this. A little Nelson grape and a little Manilita red grapefruit. Strata and Eclipse invisible to me. Some backdrop Riwaka exotics mebbe. Light crisp and semi dry finish. Hmmm. Sparkle were a must buy for me based on some of the brews I had a few months back. Until they sort out this slightly soapy thing that has been prevalent in recent brews, I'm done. Well, unless they do a rare single hop dipa..

Can. Hazy orange gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Smooth palate, a mild dryness, good fine minerally carbonation on the back end. Smooth pale malts, a light but fairly forward creamy sweetness. Soft pine intro and a hop spice nibble. Citra slightly ripe citrus and mango enlivened by Lemondrop juicy slightly ripe lemon, trace of lemon sherbet. Sultana hops - been a minute. These were called Denali back in the day? Anyway if my memory brain cells are functioning, these hops were slightly Pineappley, as in ripe pineapple and, that pans out for me. Smooth finish. Nicely thought out dipa. Slightly off the beaten track.

Can. Hazy orange gold beer, small bubbly pale cream colour head. Smooth palate, a very mild viscosity and a very mild dryness. Good fine minerally carbonation. Smooth pale malts, quite the creamy sweetness. Hops bring cooling pine and a fair dose of hop spice. A nice bitter edge brings a contrast to the obvious juicy peach and nectarine. Southern Cross does its black peppery lemon thing. Rakau fills in the gaps with some slightly earthy exotics. Hop spice ramping up on the finish and keeps biting. Solid and thoroughly entertaining dipa.

Can. A mild to medium haze on this orange gold beer, small bubbly pale cream colour head. Airy smooth palate, decent fine carbonation. Soft pale malts, a fairly forward creamy sweetness but, certainly not overdone. Hops bring vibrant Nelson grape, God! This years crop is so good! Lovely juicy Krush mango and stone fruits. A nice limey streak on the back end. Airy finish brings a touch of hop spice. Bright and juicy hop treat. Could just be a notch less sweet but, that is super nit picky, this is a delight.

A mild haze on this gold beer, a tidy and refreshingly persistent pale cream colour head. Airy palate, a mild dryness, good fine carbonation. Soft smooth pale malts, a light creamy sweetness that does its job and keeps out the way of the hop. Elani brings bitterness from the get go, soft cooling pine. They say this hop is mandarin, lime, white peach and melon. Well, the mandarin is obvious and, lime follows on. Melon subtle but there, more on the back end. White peach - yeah, arriving very late on, after the melon. There is a pleasant tang to the hop fruits and, the mandarin also brings some peel bitterness. Airy finish brings a modicum of hop spice and leaves a nice fruity bitter linger. This IPA reminds of Kernel of yore. Super duper chromatograph of a single hop and delivered in a rather spiffing IPA. Best hoppy beer I have had from Kernel in a few years. Lovely.

Can. Not sure how this differs from other versions of this brew. It remains a Sorachi and Yuzu IPA. A mild haze on this orange gold beer, small but tidy pale cream colour head. Light smooth palate, decent fine carbonation coming through on the back end. Light smooth pale malts, a pleasant light creamy sweetness. Lovely lovely lovely Sorachi Ace hops, delightful light ripe lemon, very slightly herby. Yuzu brings that wonderfully unique citrus vibe and marries with the Sorachi very well indeed. Light finish leaves a lovely Sorachi tangy citrus linger. Said it before and I will say it again - whoever came up with this idea - genius.
