Can. A mild haze on this yellowish gold beer, a small but tidy pale cream colour head. Smooth pale malts, a very pleasant light creamy sweetness. The HBC 1183 hops bring soft cooling pine into a juicy bright tinned pineapple and candied pineapple. Soft stone fruits underneath. A very mild savoury aspect sits well down in the mix. Soft juicy finish. Yeah, I think the Hop Breeding Company have done it again. Very fruity.

Can. Pretty hazy yellow gold beer, good size pale cream colour head. Airy palate, a mild dryness, good fine minerally carbonation. Light pale malts, smooth with a nice light creamy sweetness. The new hop brings sweet pineapple and a little hop spice. Back end is a pleasant smorgasbord of tightly bound tropical fruits and citrus, some of the promised papaya. Light finish. A tasty affair.

Can. A mild haze on this gold beer, small pale cream colour head. A light palate, mildly dry, good fine minerally carbonation. Slightly thin bodied pale malts, a very light creamy sweetness that suits this style. Hops bring crisp cooling pine. A pretty good Nelson grapey tang, a little gooseberry. The Maniita hops, a tad surpressed, but showing on the back end with slightly tangy red grapefruit. Light and semi dry finish brings mild hop spice and leaves a pleasant hop fruity tangy linger.

Can. A hazy gold beer, small but tidy pale cream colour head. Airy palate, mildly dry, good fine minerally carbonation. Airy pale malts, a light and slightly dry creamy sweetness. A dipa with a headline of Lemondrop? One of the most underrated and underused hops around? Well colour me excited! And then, reality sets in. A slightly soapy ripe lemon vibe. Soft pine. Tangy and mildly bitter lemon peel on the back end. Not getting the other 2 hops much but, then again, not getting the best of Lemondrop either. Semi dry finish. What a crushing disappointment. Sparkle have done some great beers peppered with a few let downs. This one feels personal, ridiculous I know but it does. Could shoulda been stellar.

Can. A mild to medium haze on this orange gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Airy palate, reasonable fine carbonation. Soft pale malts, a soft creamy sweetness. The hop combo, as delivered here, is quite left field. A little soft pine segues into overripe Strawberry and a whisper of Strawberry candy. Soft and mildly overripe lemon underneath. Soft and yes, slightly ripe grape on the mildly dry finish. Yeah, quite different to any IPA I can recall. Possibly the way Luminosa and Strata have been used. Very interesting and pretty tasty.

Can. Hazy gold beer, small bubbly pale cream colour head. Airy smooth palate, reasonable fine carbonation. Soft pale malts, a light but forward creamy sweetness. Soft cooling pine into light but pleasing Talus peachy citrus. Sabro makes its presence known with light coconut cream, both it and modern Simcoe bring light pineapple, a slight tinned pineapple vibe. Airy soft finish. Very pleasant but quite soft overall, needs some hop spice and it bit more crispness in the palate.
