500ml bottle via Press. Lo-ball at home.

Amber orange pour, nicely settled. Not active.
Deeply macerated apple, herbal, spiced, grassy, slightly oxidized nose.
Sharp & bittersweet, leaning off-sweet. Lemon iced-tea, lemon icey, pithy coarse apple skin, some green pepper, lingering astringency & acid. This is crab dominant & yummy. Not as great as a pure Wickson, but good.
Thin, sharp, boozy, astringent, prickly & delicate carb, harsh but flavorful.

Last vintage was very uneven, this one is great.

Bottle from the cellar that's been the runner up in the fridge on the last few get togethers.

Lo-ball at home, Friday night before beer chatz.
Pale gold, very slight protein haze, quick spritz, no head.
Syrupy sweet & damp nose with an apple blossom floral. Light perceived bitterness.
Bright & mostly clean after an initial mild funk front. Middling tart, residual pear sweetness, bubblegum, faint leftover yeasties, touch of mint, pleasant slightly bitter finish.
A bit of body, slick, bright, good middling acid, very low co2, hidden abv feels real easy.

Approachable & tasty.

We are grilling today for Christmas eve, err... usando la parrila. All my beers are fridge singles, some better than others.

Another pounder on the cheap at the local supermaracado in BA. August canning, so relatively fresh for the town.
Tulip at the BnB. Crispy, golden, weak head.
Premium lager minus the euro lager stink; subtle with some faint clove.
Taste is delicately sweet, with some prickly noble, herby & metallic hops in the background. Long white pepper finish with a little lime rind bitterness.

Refreshing & inoffensive with some redeeming qualities.

Day 8 in BA. We are grilling today for Christmas eve, err... usando la parrila. All my beers are fridge singles, some better than others.

Extra frothy, orange hazy tulip pour back at the Buenos Aires BNB. Best by May 26 stamp, so let's say it's 7 months old.
Very mellow hop nose profile. Earthy & herbal.
Decent grapefruit & bittergreen flavor. Malt is crackmeal & very dry. Something like iodine. Saltines on the residual & white pepper. Sticky oregano & bitter beer face on the finish. Feel most of that 6.6%.
Okay enough.

Antares scotch ale 6%
Super not fresh 11/02/26 best by, so February. I think I got this on a buy 1 get 1 70% deal, so less than 2k, about $1.33.

Tulip glass at the bnb.
Lovely dark caramel or black tea sort of pour. Inch of tan creme head.
Caramel & some dark malts upfront, toffee & gentle spice nose.
Taste is butterscotch with some creme. Background of dark & slightly charred malts, moderate-minus earthy bitterness, lingering burnt caramel that's kinda good. Some faint metallic note on the tail dips the score.
Fizzy, frothy, thin, easy for 6%.

Overall, a nice heavier beer in a sea of cheap Quilmes.
