I thought I was getting a new country tick when buying this, then used the search bar...

3k pesos in BA. Ancient July 31, 2204 stamp on the bottom. Tulip back at the compound with my beef rib sandwich breakfast.
Dark brown on black, thin cookie batter head.
Nutty, dry choco cookie nose, vanillan, slight heat. A little muted.
Oily, nutty baked goods, cream, slightly sharp cocoa char, vanilla. Moderately bitter & acidic on the tail.

Okay to good.

Single from that bottle shop in Nashville. You know the one. Sleepy time in the fridge for like 8 months. Canned 12/20/24... it's porter.

Pint glass at home. Tall tan head that cleanly recedes. Dark brown body with some vino highlights.
Licorice & unsweetened choco nose with a bit of ash.
Dark & sharp malt, bitter char, red wine dark fruit, subtly pleasant acid & accompanying sweetness. Lingering astringent char.

Drinks thin & easy. Like.

Green glass 750 via Press. Probably paid too much. Mojito glass at home.

Pale golden pour, strong soda head that cascades into nothingness. Mostly clear & boring.
Earthy, grape-y, plastic & faded fennel, clay nose. I am constantly bored by this second level drop off of an apple.
Twangy.
Bittersharp, classic, twangy chardonnay, acidy apple cream.
Strong salinity, twangy apple, long grape floral, extra high acidity, low tartness.

Good+.

Clear 750ml via Appalachian. Drank half the 750 on Beer Zoom Chats as a show of machismo.

Pale, hazy, weak head.
Sour, melon, hyper glue-y plastic, honey.
Half-sour, mellow tangy, yeasty, dried fruit, apple leather, very slight pith on the tail.
Meaty, creamy - not too yeasty, good acid, medium light carb, weak for the abv, missing the sharpness. Still drinkable.

Meh.

Single from Appalachian, $5.22, feels pricey. Mojito glass at home.

Pale orange hazy, thin head.
Veggie, tropical, green strawberry, funky papaya/pear sweet nose.
Super soapy, no joke. Hyper grapefruit, apple hooka, pie spice, thick coating, veggie bitterness. The nasty soapiness dies down in scale as it warms, but how did no one notice this cold? Low onion thankfully.
ABV warmth, nice acidity, slurry, very bright.

Decent.
