SaltyGrog Profile - Brewver (Dev)

Stemware. As Is.

Pale plum pour, thin ring of lace.
Medium bourbon nose, plum, tart frozen cherries, lemon sorbet.
Juicy, sharp, boozy cherry punch. Short barrel essence adds a little curiosity to the end. Quite bright for a BBA beer.
Hangover material. Lingering tartness with a faint lemonade sweetness. Drinks super well with a lingering warming bourbon kiss. Basically a whiskey sour in beer form.

Not what I expected but Great.

On tap at As Is while in town for work.

Stemware. Deep magenta pour, light neon. Pale pink ring of lace.
Grassy, earthy red grapes, slate, with a very mild & approachable funk nose.
Half tart, fruity beaujailles, but running sorta thinned out & dry. Sour cherry, soft brett-y floral, very minerally, soft but enough carbonation. Slightly yeasty finish but otherwise a little vapid. A bit of a harsher sharpness develops as it warms.

Good enough.

On tap at As Is. In town for work again. Was advised to get a shortie pour.

Unusually dark pour, dirty brown, cookie lace.
Obvious maple nose, thin & not too sugary.
Maple candy, cookie n creme, Bailey's. Bittersweet leaning sweet. Very warming, slight acid, full bodied, frothy carb.
A little boring but drinks like a boozy milkshake.

$3 Monday special pint with my Father In-Law. Had four.

Deep mellow gold, heady, attractive.
Bittergreen, sweet herbal & basic Cheerio nose.
Astringent & slightly sweet. Sweet Ritz crackers, decently strong herbal & piney bite. Long tea astringentcy with a bit of warmth.

Maybe too sweet but drinks pretty well with food.

Tallboy out the bar fridge when everything else on tap looked too pricey.

Classy, spirited pale gold pour with a fluffy white head.
Acidy, black pepper, weak white pith, medical nose.
Classic C hops, herbal, sharp & significantly malty but the body absolutely drops at the tail. Very alkaline but laced with a hint of sugar, perfect acid makes me thirsty for another sip. Lingering dank that popped in out of nowhere. $5.xx can from the fridge with no cork fee elevates the experience.

Very good.

At City Hops killing time. In town for work & now stuck with a canceled flight. Drink?

Good looking fizzy pint glass. I got shorted my pint pour by a good inch but didn't stink about it.
Sweet & subtle floral lavender on the nose; just enough.
Citrusy honey but zero body added, some texture. Bright acid, added malic, zippy no contrasting bite. Still okay.
Thin, low abv, easy drinker.
