Dark cola brown on black, weak head at the source. Wife in tow, ready to dig into her book.

Charcoal & malted crust on the nose.
Hearty, robust, itchy, doughy dark bread, very texturally appealing.

Simple & good.

Sturdy pale gold half pour at the source.

Very sturdy, short stange sort of glassware.
Starchy, oniony, very slight too fresh funk.
Super malty, sharp herbal, black pepper, bit of intentional fresh butter.

Too hearty & full for me but damn this is flavorful.

Half pour at the source. Wife is busy with her book, but is in the spirit, with her raspberry pop from the candy jar at the bar.

Hazy, deep & dull raspberry puree color.
Earthy, fresh, floral raspberry nose over some dry grain.
Hearty raspberry puree in first sip. Touch of fermentation twang, very level & approachable, slightly sweet berry, authentic, fresh blender puree, not sour, lingering veggie/stems.
Middling carb, thick but super refreshing.

Great palatte cleanser.

Deep honey half pour at the source.
Very obvious pickled ginger essence on the nose, which masks a lot of the rest.

Twang, orange essence, spicy ginger juice, slight savory essence at the tail that I guess is miso. Tiny grainy bit in the finish is whatever because it starts to turn sour.
Sharp, bright, herbal, small bit of heat, very spirited carb, wienie bit of oily texture, whatever abv.

This is great. What took so long for me to try this?
