In my opinion, most of the great men of the past were only there for the beer.

440 ml nitro can, alcohol free stout, from a grocery store in Brighton, consumed at home. Black colour, moderate but nice and creamy nitro head of good retention. Malty and roasty aroma and flavour, surprisingly similar to the "ordinary" Guinness Draught. Well, not identical, of course, but more than good enough when you need a n/a alternative.

Clear and pale golden pint from keg, at The Grand Central, Brighton. Decent hops in aroma and flavour, but unfortunately the beer is ruined by strong notes of butterscotch / diacetyl, probably from dirty lines, and certainly not intentional. Would sample again from another pub with clean lines.

330 ml can, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 6.5%. Murky yellow colour, moderate white head. Distinct aroma of oranges and tangerine. Flavour also of oranges and tangerine, hints of grapefruit and pine needles. Moderate but noticeable bitterness. Very refreshing. Must be good with the Danish Christmas duck or goose.

500 ml can, from EKO Market Stavanger. ABV is 4.7%. Clear and deep golden colour, moderate but lasting white head. Aroma of pilsener malts, fresh bread and some herbal hops. The flavour has sufficient malts with a little caramel, followed by fairly distinct herbal and medicinal hops in the dry finish.

500 ml can, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 5.0%. Opaque and yellow thick smoothie texture, no head. Lots of pulp in the mouthfeel. Aroma and flavour of mango, peach and passionfruit, moderately sour (lactic acid), distinctly sweet and fruity throughout. There is nothing here (except the alcohol) to remind you that this is a beer, but it sure is a splendid fruit smoothie.

500 ml bottle, as Książęce IPA 0,0, from EKO Market, Stavanger. Clear golden colour, moderate white head. Aroma of malts / malt extract, hints of herbal and grassy hop extract. Thin mouthfeel as expected. Some malt extract first, followed by a very sharp hop bitterness, becomes medicinal in the aftertaste. Pretty bad.
