Visited on a Friday evening, so people were quite loud and drunk, mostly locals it seemed. The whole place is divided into three semi-separated rooms. There are some pillars in the building and a mix of old and new. It all looks a bit more interesting than comfortable. Service was slightly lackluster. Dozen taps of which were about half theirs, focusing on classical styles. We tried the Vienna and Pilsner, technically nothing wrong with them but also not very exciting. It’s an interesting place and the focus on the more old school styles, bit more restraint is nice. These are not the easiest beers, I wasn’t too blown away with the quality or the vibe but worth a visit for something different for sure.

Close to the station, cool interior mixing modern and classical almost mansion look. 12 taps, no prices listed but all turned out to be 5 euro, quite reasonable given style / size of pours. One De Ranke and lots of beers from them, interesting barley wines, stout, Berliner wise etc. None of them were true to style but nice and unique beers, definitely something new and different. Selection of cans and bottles, theirs and interesting bit more experimental foreign craft. Quite a cool place, friendly owner and interesting beer, I should revisit.

Visited on their first anniversary party. It’s technically primarily a bottle shop but it’s quite spacious given the limited size. Most of the floor is open with some tables and chairs, new, bright colors and brick wall. 3 Fridges of craft beer / bottles, a limited number priced quite well, there is plenty more expensive beer but there are also loads of USA and Canadian beer. Quite a few beers which I have not seen elsewhere, less common styles too. Very friendly service, very cool bathroom. Selection of chocolate, popcorn, chips, quite a lot of interesting things. 2 more fridges of NA beers and interesting lemonades, very cool place in a town with not that much until very recently.

Large alcohol store with loads of hard liquor, beer selection is not big but covers pretty much all the macros available. It’s not really getting better in general, there’s a market / alcohol shop across the street with friendly service worth checking out (Miks).

It seems pretty much around the corner of the shop and some shared staff. This is not a tiny place next by the side of a busy road, it’s a big restaurant style place with a lovely terrace overlooking the park behind Registan with no view. All tourists here, reasonable prices and very relaxing, it’s a bigger but not much different selection. Out of the Shop and Khmelnov location this was easily our favorite, just way more relaxing. Reasonable extra cost justifies this.

It’s got food and tables but calling it a restaurant seems a bit excessive. It doesn’t feel like one Russian pop on TV, air-conditioning and babushka service. Not sure how far you get here without Russian, didn’t try, two macro taps draft and a selection of bottles from Craft Brewing Company, 45.000 for craft and 25.000 for draft, the audience is all tourists here, probably as interesting as a bar gets for beer in Bukhara.
