Dors Craft Beer and Kitchen

Massive terrace, brightly lit next to loads of expensive preppy places for tourists and the upper class. Not my style but the kind of a place a restaurant/ brewpub is in the area. Mix of German and Belgian inspired beers, we tried two and they were unimpressive but good by local standards. Poor by general beer standards. Dargett not far does much better, it’s okay and there is not too much in the area anyway but it’s hard to be excited. Service fee, quick to notice but not service very young servers and loads of them. Peanuts served were nice but coated in an odd sugar and salt mix or something. We didn’t try the food.

Good atmosphere and service, traditional bar with loads of memorabilia and space. Untappd verified, 22 taps with an odd mix of very loc l breweries, macro beers like Leffe and big NL craft brands like Frontaal and Kompaan. There’s a discount menu of last cans but obviously not all were available. Great for atmosphere and trying something very local.

Located by the market square with loads of other bars next to it and a seizable terrace. Menu is Untappd but lists first all the cans and bottles, only at the end the tap list which is unclear. There are also Untappd screens but they once again don’t list the taps. No prices on the Untappd menu too, canned/ bottled list is massive going from macro to all kinds of insane pastry beers, loads of odd surprises, my partner had a South-Korean Rice lager, quick service. Food from next door warenhuis is available, some veggie almost no vegan we had the gyoza which was okay. Quick service, loads of signs and a nice brown interior. The menu is a mess but plenty of interesting things, high turnover vibe, imperfect but definitely interesting and a bit unexpected.

Old fashioned pub in the party district so loads of random noise bleeding through. Interesting tap list with some eccentricities and a bottle list too long to read almost, it really goes all over the place, whiskey place too with an interesting selection and prices so low I feel tempted not to mention it, I wound up focusing on that. Interesting spot to hit.

It’s sort of on the backside of the museum but there are signs everywhere in the park. QR and human service, quick too. Interesting massive construction, the few interesting vegan snacks were all seasonal and gone. Next to La Trappe etc they had 3 beers brewed for the park so interesting, had one it was okay. The park itself was loads of fun.

Central, great terrace and great service. The draft menu was a bit confusing since not everything mentioned the brewery. Interesting mix of mainstream, macro and craft. Okay prices. We had a vegan sate which was slightly pricey but also excellent. It’s a nice enough spot.

You can drink the beers across the street in the bar, you can buy them here and at the museum shop. The museum is excellent and you can see the old and modern brewery here, beers for sale and explanation available if desired.
