The museum is excellent and highly recommended. For a beer geek this is a no brainer stop since you can have the beers on tap here, 3 on visit. There is also a tasting set with chocolate, grapes, cheese and pretzel sticks. Bottles available too, all kinds of nice looking snacks. Interior is a lovely classical brown bar, there is a nice terrace. Service was rushed with a large amount of visitors.

No need to review the museum which is excellent. You pass through here since it’s also the entrance/ exit, the beers are also available at the brewery. Big bottles available with the small ones being in a gift pack, for the beers there is a bit more service buying them at the brewery. For other handmade products etc it’s way more options here.

I love the interior, absolutely packed with memorabilia old school brown bar, it looks like history, gorgeous. Good service and a number of absolutely plastered locals. They even have the retro beer cocktail verkrachte zalm. Beer selection is not that interesting with old school big brand BE/NL beers but there is Rodenbach, weihenstephaner, etc. Recommended for vibes.

The terrace is amazing overlooking the river, this is also pretty much the one really positive thing about this bar. They have about 15 taps of which 2 of them were theirs, we tried both, absolute garbage. 2 more of their beers bottles and the rest of the selection is macro Dutch craft, dull bigger brand Belgians, very little actually good. Their own beers being this bad is hard to overlook, friendly service but you’re better off walking by the river.

Very central, friendly, small but absolutely stacked with beers, 1 small fridge but most of the selection is not chilled. Big selection, loads of styles, beers from many countries, lots of things new to me and I found the prices quite reasonable and good for the stouts even. I was tempted to bring back a lot, there is one small bench where you can sit outside but it’s a store primarily, excellent as is their bar.

Very central with very friendly service and good older poppy music (Fleewood Mac, Depeche Mode, Robbie Williams etc.). Nice terrace and does look quite classic with modern chairs etc. 16 taps with fixed taps for Jopen, Moersleutel and beers made for them, interesting cider, Schlenkerla, Vault City, Pühaste etc so broad and quality selection. Loads of interesting cans and bottles, flights and tasters available, this is pretty much what a modern craft beer bar aspires to be. The sours are a tad pricey but very much in line for NL these days, found loads that interested me.

It’s a bit hard to rate this one correctly since I don’t eat cheese. It’s primarily a cheese shop where the also age cheese and they’re have won loads of awards. There’s beer but it felt very complementary to the cheese. Very friendly people, one table outside, small fridge with La Source, canned cider and a producer new to me, reasonable drink in prices. They have Cantillon, Tilquin and Boerenerf bottles, only the Cantillon was chilled. The prixes were about half of what the other reviewers describe so they must have increased them for events or they ask way more for rare bottles since none of the beers were rare. Charming but I would recommend this as a cheese place and not as a beer destination.

Two bars in one, Belgisch Biercafé is the main one but you can enter Rebelgian-Pub via the first one. You can order beers from both venues with an online / Untappd / paper menu. There is a huge selection (60ish taps), Belgisch Biercafé one is quite dull with loads of big brands, old fashioned boozy Belgians. Rebelgian one has a surprisingly good draft list with beers from Frontaal, LOC, Moersleutel, Sudden Death etc. One of the better tap lists in town actually with decent prices by local standards. Very pleasantly surprised.
