A bit of a too short visit. Gorgeous UK pub look and feel, elevated even more by the Christmas decorations. Quite big and massive and interesting menu hitting way more classical styles, cozy place, definitely quality.

Bit of a late visit and could have been a bit more proper. Bright red walls, contrasting with black, checkered tiles and dinner look and feel. The beers which we tried were solid. Friendly service and different look and feel from other places, coffee focus seemed to be almost more machine than premade. Interesting and cool place that deserved probably a bit better visit.

Quite central with loads of other places and things nearby with the funny foot logo. With nearly 40 taps the selection is massive with loads of Stigbergets, tried their lager and dry stout offerings which were not that impressive. Their hoppy stuff might be best in the country. Half of the tap theirs and the other half mainly abroad Kernel, Rothaus Pils, Amundsen. The place is quite popular, the interior looks more like an oversized slapdash coffee place, more aimless than quirky. The quality is there but it didn’t feel very together or cozy. Still a good visit for the beer quality and massive beer list but I expected a bit more vibe and interior wise.

This place is just solid gold. Short bus ride from Lot station or okay walk. Located next to the blender, gorgeous restored former exterior. Interious is very spacious, modern with terrace, looks really amazing. Untappd screens and verified venues with televisions with advertisement, gorgeous counter. Taps with sparkling water available to pour yourself. 10 taps of really impressive selection of their beers including 2 beers I have never ever seen on tap in spectacular condition. Fridge including collaborations from many years ago still there and even a 2008 Geuze which we tried. They were offering a flight of Vandervelden geuzes. Service was really good, prices were good. Food available with most things cooked with their beer. Oud Beersel beer is criminally underrated, this is world-class beer vastly more consistent than Cantillon in quality. One could not really ask for more, only small minus point we tried vegetables pickled in lambiek and they really should have used spices besides lambiek, nice concept but kind of sucked as food but everything else was just amazing.

I have been here a few times for events. Karel is a friendly and interesting and intense guy (check out his Instagram). The operation is not big, a selection of Urquell barrels in a corner, it’s a warehouse vibe. He makes some great beer so cool visit all the same for that.
