Sample (thanks omhper!). Deep golden colour, small off-white head. Aroma is slightly diacetylic with some fruity, floral and sweet malty tones. Flavour is diacetyl, grass, some floral, fruity and mild herbal tones.

Bottle 75cl. @Groenpark Simpelveld poured into a pilsner glass. Clear pale amber colour, fair frothy off-white to white head, half-way lasting, fair lacing. Aroma toasted malt, caramel, bread, nutty notes. Taste medium sweet and light to medium bitter, malty, caramel, light roast. Medium body, watery to oily texture, soft carbonation, malty sweetbitter aftertaste, nutty notes, a bit harsh in taste and aftertaste, okay.

750 ml bottle. Unclear amber, fluffy head. Caramel, roasted malt, dark bread, dry citrus notes and lemon zest, slightly metallic, buttery notes. Malty sweetness, dry bitterness. Medium bodied, oily texture, lively carbonated, dry bittersweet finish. Nice!

ABV: 4.3%. Clear medium amber yellow colour with a small average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, hay, caramel, sweet malt, apple. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, sweet malt, caramel, hay, pale malt, grass - straw, malty, floral notes. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20220217]

--Bottled, from drinkshop.sk -- Clear golden, mid sized head Aroma of hay and bread. Mid dry with light body and crisp, rounded mouthfeel. Bready malt, hay and tea, slight notes of butter. Mid bitter finish. Drinkable and pleasant jedenáctka.

750ml Bottle - Amber in colour. Caramel and some nutty, toasted and slightly fruity (sultanas mostly) notes in the aroma. The taste is quite nicely balanced with some notes of bread, caramel, nuts, toasted malts and some slightly grassy and earthy hints.

Tap at Cobolis 3rd Anniversary. Hazy amber body, off whtie head. Flowery aroma, light caramel. Lean taste, lightly eggy, malty, vegetal touches, not much bitterness... huh, I'm sure Mazák can do better!

Eines der Standard-Biere in meiner Lieblingsbar in Břeclav, das ich schon einige Male getrunken habe. Ich habe gedacht, dass ich es schon längst bewertet hatte, aber bis jetzt ging es mir durch die Lappen. Es steht als elfgrädiges Bier auf der Karte -mit dem Zusatz jantarový, also dt.: Berstein, aber wenn man ein Helles bestellt, bekommt man auch dieses Bier. Es ist kein Halbdunkles, was man in Tschechien oft bekommt, sondern ein fein süffiges Bier mit Bersteinfarbe. Es errinnert an manche Wiener Lager, ist aber nicht so süß, sondern gemütlich zu trinken und unglaublich süffig. Man könnte 5 solcher BIere trinken und hätte noch immer Freude daran. Klassisch süffige tschechische Braukunst verknüft mit frisch-grasogen Hopfennoten und einer Brise Malz. Ein wirklich tolles Bierchen.

Jantar, de nem az az amber némber, hanem inkább az mélyarany fajta, nekem túlságosan is gyümölcsös volt egy lágernek.
