On tap in the Beer Palace, Bratislava on 20th September 2025. Dark lager with a beige crust. Malty front to the aroma and taste, it's OK and easy to drink, slightly dry and bitter finish.

bekommen im Beer Palace in der Gorkého 204, wo man mich offensichtlich nicht wollte, da man mir sagte, dass die Küche zu ist und mich in einem hinteren Winkel des an sich schönen Lokals verbannte 😡.
Dieses dunkle Billignier, das man vom Fass bekam trank ich aus einen Krušovice-Glas neben einer Heineken-Leuchtreklame 💩
Es ist verdammt süß 🎂und bringt keine wirklich schöne Aromen, welche ich aus Tschechien, aber auch slowakischen Craftbier-Lokalen kenne. Sonst keine besonderen Aromen, sogar vom Fass.
Ein Bier passend zu Billig-Burgern und Kartoffelsalat aus dem Kübel.
Absolut keine Empfehlung.

On tap pours out brown topped with a sand head. Nose is nice toasted nuts and some grain. Taste is more of the nice sweet malts some toasted nuts.

F: big, brownish, good retention. C: dark, opaque. A: bit dark malt, bit coffee, bit caramel, dark bread. T: dark malt, caramel, bit chocolate, not very sweet, quite good balanced, partially enjoyed, medium body, low to medium carbonation, from tap at Cantrálna Klubovňa in Bratislava, visited 27/09/17.

On tap at Lunapark, Bratislava. Well, first of all overchilled. Not beer’s problem though. Almost black with coffee aroma and coffee and caramel in taste, Zlatý Bažant is good at dark beers.

Tap at U zlateho bazanta. Caramel and coffee aroma. Dark brown color, beige head. Taste of carameled malts, coffee and sweetness. Medium body, watery texture, average carbonation and bitter-sweet finish with coffee notes.

Tap at Centralna klubovna. I am glad to admit that this was an actually good and enjoyable beer. Very dark colour and beige head with excellent retention. Krouzkuje. Nicely balanced in flavour, typical tmavy - roasted, dark caramel, caramel. Quite chewy, equal parts sweet and bitter, no hops flavour, no off notes. Well... a good beer from Heineken, there you have it.
