Bottle from Speciaalbierpakket. Aroma is roasted malt, cocoa nibs, tonka beans, vanilla, dark chocolate, notes of coconut, chocolate cake. Flavour is sweet with a moderate to medium bitter roasty finish. Body is full. Another tasty Stout from Moersleutel, about on par with the other Tonkabeers.

Bottle at home from DeBierkonig, Amsterdam, 30th November 19. Pours black, nice neat tan head. Aroma is coffee, molasses, liquorice, liquor. Taste is smooth bitter chocolate, cocoa, Tonka, liquorice, molasses, booze. Smooth and delicious.

7/10/19: Batch 1758, doesn't appear to have suffered from its age. Pours thick and black, with a nice brown head. Smell of sweet chocolatey coffee. Taste is pretty spicey, lots of tonka, coffee of course, subtle vanilla. Rich, sweet, and yummy.
13/4/20: Batch 1759. Still pretty darn good, didn't really go back at all. Different than before, but still tasty. Plenty of coffee, some dark chocolate, and subtle tonka. Lightly bitter, tiny bit of subtle vanilla. Nice creamy mouthfeel. Solid coffee stout+twist.

0.375 l bottle from 'Het Biermoment', best before October 2022, cellared for about a year. Pitch black with a thin, frothy, almost stable, brown head. Sweetish-malty, gently roasty aroma of nougat, hazelnut, vanilla, tonka beans and coffee. Gently sweet, malty, quite roasty and moderately bitter taste of coffee, nougat, hazelnut, vanilla and tonka beans, followed by a medium long, gently roasty-bitter, slightly earthy finish. Full body, smooth, almost creamy and a bit oily mouthfeel, very soft carbonation. Tasty, straight-forward Dessert Stout.

37.5cl Bottle from Vonk. Black colour, brown head. Aroma of lots of deep roast, chocolate, tonka beans, vanilla, hint of coffee buried underneath al the yummy goodness. Flavour is thick, sweet, tonka, vanilla, lots of roast, dark chocolate, caramel, some coffee, bittersweet finish. Full bodied. Great, tasty sipper.

BB 10.2022. black color, small coffee colored head. smells cinnamon, nutmeg, vanilla, earthy, speculoos, coffee, bit leathery. very nice smell. full body, light carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes coffee, earthy, spices, strong cinnamon, some burned malts, nutmeg, light speculoos, rubbery, light vanilla. finishes light to medium roasty bitter with notes of nutmeg, cinnamon and coffee notes. very nice one overall, loved the different flavours, taste is rather coffee roasty bitter though, the balance is a bit off there for me. Overall very nice one though.
