Anniversary beer, brewed in 2020 and aged in oak barrels for nearly one year. Full, rich oak on the nose. Burnt vanilla leads to mocha and coconut. Hints of maple syrup and pecan are balanced by tart blackberry.

Dark brown, thin head. Has a lightly fruity aroma with a bit of chocolate. Has some fruitiness on the palate, medium body, moderate bitterness. This is a decent stout, medium body, with a moderate barrel influence. It's on the lighter, fruitier side.

473mL can, pours black with a medium brown head. Aroma has medium roasted malt, woody oak, and a touch of vanillin. Flavour is woody, with lots of medium roasted malt, gentle oak, and light vanilla. Dry, oaky, and roasty finish. Not the most comple BA impie, but I like the dryness and drinkability of it. Good stuff.

473mL can. Pours black with a beige head. Roasted malt, bourbon, and a touch of hazelnut on the nose. Flavour has a solid roasted malt base with dry bourbon barrels and maybe some cloves. Very nice.

Pours deep brown into a tulip. Tan head with medium retention recedes to hug rim. Hot bourbon, vanilla and oak aromas. Soft with warm vanilla and oak upfront turning to hot bourbon and chocolate in the lasting finish.

12 oz. bottle purchased at Spruce Creek Provisions, Kittery. 2014 vintage. Small lasting tan head on a pitch black body. Aroma is vanilla, bourbon that lingers, nice mild roast, moderate chocolate.
The flavor shows the pretty mellow but lingering bourbon through the entire sip. The body has dark grain base with hints of vanilla and light oak. Not sure about finding rum but the flavor runs deep. Mouthfeel is creamy with a smooth, velvety feel across the tongue. Exceptionally well crafted, I am happy that I another bottle to enjoy.
